Hardly find any company in Malaysia to beat 3.5month bonus.

But 5years experience for less than 4k is a no no for me, I prefer higher salary > bonus..... if got both nice la

bro... he have experience ma.... he took 6 years to get to that salary range at 25.... for bachelor who took the same timing.... some 3 years already at managerial level....

Mileage might vary la for different people. I started like under 3k and now is in the five figures in just 5 years.

Timing, luck and opportunities sometime comes together.

I'm in the financial industry.. started around 3k+, there was an adjustment to the unions which also impacte the non-union, so I got push to 4k almost immediately, then coupled with very generous increments and promotions, by the 3rd year i was touching 7k. I left to join another place, and got my 30% jump, didn't enjoyed it and quit after 6 mths, got head hunted for another role and i asked for another 30% .. a year or so in, was asked to head a dept so i asked for double and I got that.

Definitely I won't claim it is the norm, but I think all the relationships you build, the expertise you hone and the experiences you amass will come to fruition so keep at it and keep your heads up.

My question is how much can a diploma level welder make in a month as a freshgrad?
Im currently studying Engineering Technology in Welding and im planning on working for a year after i graduate to get some experience before continuing my degree.

Previous job was tough because work 7 days/week once have project kick started. Basic only 2k but alot of allowance for petrol and tol and abit of OT pay. Maximum only about RM3k plus abit at the end of the day. Decided to swift to current company.

cos fresh grads in companies I worked with pays that kind of salary to fresh graduate?

2.5k was when I first started working 10 years ago wei....

emm, its possible when your friend is already has 1st class degree. MNC especially like TI and Shell can pay more than average salary for fresh grads (they probably excel during interview sessions).

Ermm what I know Schlumberger can give more than RM6k(not include the allowance) salary to fresh grad engineers nowadays (but they have alot of interview stages before being accepted).

I know tons of MNC IT companies that offer more than 3.5k and above for fresh grad. There is no pre-determined salary range for fresh grad, depends on the company capability and your technical expertise. I know someone took a fresh grad job to dubai with salary exceeding RM8k.
