Recently just get a car(5 years+ C segment car) from the company that can be use as personal car. After the recent appraisal, I get around 10% increment and 1 month bonus for 2015. Am I getting good pay/benefit? I just feel the 10% of 2k+ increment is still kinda difficult to survive in KL. Or am I too greedy? rclxub.gif

Have you accepted the offer? It's difficult to get jobs these days. If you want to play it safe, you should just accept the offer first while looking for another offer eventually. Since you're just starting out, every experience will be a good experience for you. Try and supplement your income by doing part time job (you can drive Uber Black if it's black and C-segment since it's not over 7 years' age). Also, try and start something. Go to Magic and see what you can get from them and also get to know people. It's a who's who's world out there.  smile.gif

Yup I accepted the offer. What do "Go to Magic" means?

Are you married or having any commitment? That could affect. But as a single being work and live in KL, I guess shouldn't be a problem with the salary and the increment you have. Of course if you have a gf then you might need to prepare like 500 every month to spend on/with your gf. xD

Your salary and benefits pretty similar to one of the company I know. Not sure it is a standard practice for certain industry. Ur salary and benefits is a little bit higher than avg fresh grad. But since u are in software engineering, i believe u could earn more if u r really good. Easily can get 3.5k to 4k for fresh. Anyway whats most important is the exposure u get. If current company unable to provide u work exp and knowledge then maybe u should start to look into different company after 1 or 2 year work.
