Guys,

Just asking

What's the average base pay for VP position with Citibank if you guys know?
What are the other perks beside the base pay eg car allowance, car maintenance allowance?
How's the work culture?

Thanks
*
QUOTE(joefrezzo @ Jan 13 2017, 12:15 PM)
Perhaps RM25-35K?
*
I laugh. LOL..as far as i know citibank lowest is asst manager so yea VP doesnt mean much. And if u r in sales...vp is even lower. So most prolly 9 -16k without anymore information given by that guy.

QUOTE(yxl @ May 28 2017, 10:46 AM)
I need some advice. Maybe my superior notice I am actively looking a new jobs. So they decided to move me to senior title and adjustment my salary to 5k.

But I have some concern. It is from the experience of my past interview. Almost all the interviewer reject me because I never change my jobs for almost 5 years and where they said my experience only limited to this particular field only. And they really feel shock why I never change my jobs for so long time. And they advice me, I should change jobs in every 2 years time and it will make my salary big and experience too.

So, should I still looking for another jobs or stay in company.. dilemma now..

*i stay in the same company for so long it is because my superior really nice and even I change superior already and the new superior also a nice man to work for.
*
In a sense what they said is true. Staying in same company is a loss to u. Companies tend not to increase old timer salary. They prefer to pay more tonget outsiders with "out of the box" thinking.

Even u get 5k now..are they going to give u 6k nx year??

I am not in your shoes but if u wish to see more then its time to jump. Try finding until one company accept u shud u wish to jump.

hi ,

just want to ask some idea or opinion from you all ,

how much or roughly how much did assistant manager salary ???

my friend have few years experience of working in a x hotel company , and she suddenly become assistant manager due to her hardworking and she working at least 14-16 hours per day , wondering in that situation how much she is being pay in 5 star hotel company as a assistant manager , anyone know ??
*
Hate to break the bubble to you but nowadays title doesn't mean anything. Take for example banks - any salesman will be titled sales executive, sales managers, sales director even if just work 1 or 2 years.

It will be much more better you just post up as per the template and let people see and advise as there would be more details.

Shud be legit.
Basic 3.5k. Offshore allowance 100-150 per day.
Under pay for offshore allowance.
*
100 x 3 = 3,000 and + 3.5k = 6.5k and getting close to 7k so nope. + own thinking underpaid. So nope. Overpaid definitely 100%.

The company im in gives rm100/day for offshore allowance. This is low compared to other o&g companies like sbm, technip, petronas, petrobras etc. they pay in usd. 80-100++
Even our subcontractors get more lol

Industry wise. I guess its in the lower spectrum. But generally, its alot.
Also tax free. Weeeee

Sorry, don't generalise by saying "we" all think overpaid 100%.
It is decent pay not overpaid. Just because u think so does not mean everyone think the same.
I am pretty sure u have not seen or experience those working offshore. They are basically slave to platform with a basic living during offshore period. They don't get to be with families and friends whenever offshore even with occasion such as birthday, wedding, or emergencies u name it.
There are also risk associated with working offshore thus it is compensated, this is not like someone working in office with air-conditioning and clock-in and out to have lunch and dinner with friends and family.
And no, I work in Financial industry with few friends working in O&G, so no conflict in defending him.
Cheers.
*
I work in Financial industry. Yeah its decent paid but when he think he is underpaid then he is overpaid. Its just that simple.

Also it seems you are the one generalize saying I never experience such thing. Now who is the one who is ermmmm generalize and make assumption? whistling.gif hmm.gif

i think if you can find an employer that is willing to pay you such amount, then who are those people to judge you being overpaid. in my opinion they are just jealous.

if they are willing to pay such amount, that also means that they think that you are 'worth' the price that they are paying for. willing buyer willing seller.
*
Then pls justify "who are those ppl who judge u being underpaid" bcoz if employers pay u that amount (rm1.2k -
Rm1.k) means u deserve it????

Not ppl being jealous but if u willing to use brain it will be much easier for ppl to give comment before u jump to conclusion.

Edit: just to add. am earning close to 9k so why would i or any ppl be jealous over internet post??

Since this is my first job in Malaysia I don't mind to have lower pay thou. wanted to move back asap.

i think 11K+ the allowance shall allow me to survive in kl. i am still single anyway.
*
Yes - to survive rm2k also enuf.

However, accepting this range will open the gate to ur future employers to offer 20-30% higher only instead of better offer which might wxceed ur usd equiavalent.
