Hi guys, recently received a job offer as below. And since it's just barely two years from my last jump, should i do it? I don't want to appear as a job hopper but it is kind of a good offer since the industry is already slowing down lately. SHOULD I TAKE IT GUYS?

Any advice on the salary I should receive? I get chartered accountant from MIA last year. But my HR inform me it is meaningless😩😩 I really upset. I thinking on a move, but I went to some interview, they told me, my expected salary is too high😩😩 so I really no idea actually how much should I request. FYI, I request 4800 only😫😫😫 I really jealous and feel impress with all sifu in this forum, they can get 8000 with 4 years experience..

I need some advice. Maybe my superior notice I am actively looking a new jobs. So they decided to move me to senior title and adjustment my salary to 5k.

But I have some concern. It is from the experience of my past interview. Almost all the interviewer reject me because I never change my jobs for almost 5 years and where they said my experience only limited to this particular field only. And they really feel shock why I never change my jobs for so long time. And they advice me, I should change jobs in every 2 years time and it will make my salary big and experience too.

So, should I still looking for another jobs or stay in company.. dilemma now.. 

*i stay in the same company for so long it is because my superior really nice and even I change superior already and the new superior also a nice man to work for.

If I really start my jobs hunting again. And my expected salary should it be like 20% more of the 5k or I should request the 5k only...

Shud be legit.
Basic 3.5k. Offshore allowance 100-150 per day.
Under pay for offshore allowance.

The company im in gives rm100/day for offshore allowance. This is low compared to other o&g companies like sbm, technip, petronas, petrobras etc. they pay in usd. 80-100++
Even our subcontractors get more lol

Industry wise. I guess its in the lower spectrum. But generally, its alot.
Also tax free. Weeeee

Sorry, don't generalise by saying "we" all think overpaid 100%.
It is decent pay not overpaid. Just because u think so does not mean everyone think the same.
I am pretty sure u have not seen or experience those working offshore. They are basically slave to platform with a basic living during offshore period. They don't get to be with families and friends whenever offshore even with occasion such as birthday, wedding, or emergencies u name it.
There are also risk associated with working offshore thus it is compensated, this is not like someone working in office with air-conditioning and clock-in and out to have lunch and dinner with friends and family.
And no, I work in Financial industry with few friends working in O&G, so no conflict in defending him.

i think if you can find an employer that is willing to pay you such amount, then who are those people to judge you being overpaid. in my opinion they are just jealous.

if they are willing to pay such amount, that also means that they think that you are 'worth' the price that they are paying for. willing buyer willing seller.

work less than 4 years and secure 130% increment in the past 2 years to reach 9k. Great job there mate.

I am not sure is this high or low as I have never work in Malaysia since graduated. Anyway I am CCIE x 2 certified.

my previous salary were in USD. which is much higher than now.

Since this is my first job in Malaysia I don't mind to have lower pay thou. wanted to move back asap.

i think 11K+ the allowance shall allow me to survive in kl. i am still single anyway.

Walao...everyone here so young already 15~30k monthly, although I think those are exceptional individuals

I think average joe/jane salary should be around like this

Age 23-25: 2500-3500
Age 26-30: 3500-5000
Age 30-35: 5000-8000+
