Senior exec is just a title. Fresh grads either come in as exec or a level above exec (SE, AM, etc) depending on their level and the work they are taking on.

Furthermore, different bank have different naming conventions.

Depending on the industry and the degree. Just came back from TW talk, average salary hasn't moved that much past year or so, it's around 2.6-3.2k or thereabouts..
