I kinda like a main contractor to get all those sub-contractors for the plaster ceiling, wiring, back door walls with security door, kitchen cabinet, grill, balcony, aluminum doors and so on. The civil and structural work is not much as Edulis is fully extended.
Basically, they are listed below:
1. Contractor for plaster ceiling with his electric man is good in delivering decent works for plaster ceiling, cabling and power points works.
2. Grill supplier is suck big time due to the installer screw up work. He supply the grills for the house except the grill door for balcony.
3. Kitchen cabinet vendor is good but initial price is high and I have to knock down the price a lot. Probably he thought I am rich as this is my 2nd house in SA. He installed all cabinets for my 1st house 7 years ago. But his workmanship is tip top. By the way, he cannot install oven and the kitchen sink for me. Then I do it by myself.
4. Balcony work I tumpang my neighbour's main contractor. The contractor is average or below average in civil work but his tile installer is good. Glass handrail for balcony is average work also with too many defects for silicon filler to joint . His grill installer for the door grill at the access to balcony is good though if you know how to talk to him. I got FOC steel caps for fastening screws for my sliding door grill at living hall.
5. Aluminum doors for dining hall to kitchen and master bed room toilet. The best vendor ever with best installer (Chinese).

Yes, I collected it today when i intended just to pay the miscellaneous fees but was told i can collect the keys too since my bank has fully reimbursed the final & any outstanding payment to Setia & solicitor. However, joint house inspection can only be made by appointment at least three days in advance.
