Looks like Maxis has revised their tablet plan again. The new website no longer mentions data add-on like below:

https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plans/hotlink-tablet-plan.html

Now it merely states you get another 1GB for 1 year for $30 in the FAQ:

https://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/plans/...CFUIcjwodNm4GXQ

Anyone using this? Validity 1 year.

Why u want to pay RM30 for it when its only RM10 for #Hotlink plan?
Yea free 1GB data, but #Hotlink same too.
Just need to keep it active so my guess is its same for this too.

Probably the only difference is this plan is LTE and #Hotlink only 3G?

It says this in terms and conditions:

"Subscribers will no longer be able to surf the internet upon reaching his / her free 1 GB internet quota / subscribed tablet internet plan quota or upon plan expiry. To continue enjoying this Service, please purchase a new Tablet Internet Pass via the Hotlink RED App."

I supposed that means you purchase it via RED app and it costs $30 for another 1GB?

So its fake lah...
Rm30 to buy the card, then RM25 for 1GB data valid for 2 months.
Yeah "NO MORE COMMITMENT" correct term aka not postpaid.

Because so far tablet plan all postpaid with commitment?
This is the 1st prepaid tablet plan

It is only for internet data only. There is no voice call or SMS function. Validity is 365 days. 1GB data quota. Cost = $30. It will give you a new sim which you cannot convert to another package.

Basically, only useful for a tablet which needs data occassionally due to the long validity period.

It should come with 1GB data free once you activate it. But the pricing for additional pass is not shown on the website so I was only guessing. Looks like it is similar to the old plan.

The initial $30 only gives you 1GB for 1 year. The "free" basically means that 1GB. Additional data needs to purchase pass, which is shown to be $40 for 2GB (valid for 1 year), or $25 for 1GB (valid for 2 months).

The only data for tablet is good to me. As I use it only when out of city.

Valid for a yrs is ok as I don't need to waste burn if no use in a month.

I m just blur what is package inside and what is that free 1gb mean.
