Hi, I just got the plat Ikhwan card. I presume ALL petrol stations can give 5% rebate, including BHP where I usually go to.

How about grocery? Which merchants are eligible? Also, say buying electronics at AEON BIG + kitchen stuffs...is this considered grocery?

Thanks in advance.

Both categories are tracked using MCC code.

Hi David,

A quick search shows that AEON BIG MCC code 5411, i guess everything from AEON BIG is eligible for 5% rebate?

Thanks.

Just call CS, they cant tell me any reason blah blah blah......they only tell me that i cant have ikhwann card.
and they tell me once i have conventional card ( 2card ), u cant apply islamic card at this same time.
they said can try cancel 2 card and apply ikhwan ....under condition apply on it.

is that true??damn confursing

I have both the 2 cards and Ikhwan. Maybe you have too many cards, therefore credit limit too high, therefore too risky?

how much is consider as huge limit for mbb  in order for them to label you as 'high risk' clients ?
*
I believe every credit card issuer has their own formula, and the formula will change based on issuer's risk appetite. Individuals' risks also will change due to personal loan and credit card CLs.

I have been applying from AEON credit for the 2nd time now, still I don't see them approving me. In the mean time, I got new Ikhwan, PBB VI and PBB VS tongue.gif

Now I am hoping that AEON won't approve me so that I can keep on getting freebies for applying. The last time I applied, the agent put in RM10k credit limit for me, I wasn't even aware. Then as usual AEON called me a few times, checking this and that, then they asked me if I really wanted just RM10k limit? I just responded that they can give me whatever they want, it's just for grocery. (just for comparison, my other cards have like 65k CL).

Hi everyone,

I have just received my first statement for my card, somehow it doesn't tally, hope someone can help me.

From my calculations at the right most column:
1. Total CB should be RM29.63, but I only got RM26.69?
2. The last transaction on 30 Jan, Petronas Sg Besi used to reload Touch and Go. This is not included in CB because...?

Thanks.

all transactions performed in Jan and posted in Jan, will only be calculated in Jan cashback allocation.

those posted in Feb (although transacted in Jan), will goes to Feb cashback allocation.

p/s: Ikhwan's posting is notoriously late compared to M2Card Amex. Be mindful on your tracking biggrin.gif

Thanks for the quick clarification.

If you total up the eligible transactions posted in January, the cash rebate, RM26.69, is correct. The last 2 eligible transactions shall be included in the Feb cash back calculation.

Thanks for the quick clarification.

If I understood it correctly, transactions at the counter of the station is considered as 'retail' rather than 'Petrol' category and won't be eligible for Cashback. Maybe I am wrong.

I am not quite sure either, I got this from Touch and Go thread, hopefully this transaction is eligible, otherwise I have lost RM2 for nothing cry.gif

Just sharing my experience applying Ikhwan card, existing Maybank 2 Card holder, went to 1U card centre, strange, they demand 3 months salary slip where application form just state 1 month,

Everyone staff there saying the same script, need 3 months salary, there is another person beside me applying some cc as well

Since the officer is very polite, I just say I will provide it later

She said even existing holder is like applying like new one, wasted a trip there, but anyway, just info

Whenever I apply any new credit card, I will make it a habit to provide 3 months latest payslip and EPF statement though they never ask for it. I don't mind giving more rather than delaying my application. tongue.gif

I was an existing Maybank2 cards customer. I applied by calling a phone number, i think it's on Ikhwan advertisement website. Other docs I just sent via email.

Any idea which aeon supermarket customer service allows buying AEON vouchers using creditcard and is categorised as grocery? I tried MidValley but failed.
