Free petrol > CB biggrin.gif

Sadly, this card did not get me any rebates for the previous month :/

Company paid for travelling so I swiped in on the Signatures instead.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Nov 3 2015, 02:15 PM)
Maybe a bit OT, any maybank card gives rebate for unifi payment? Just realized my newly approved CIMB CR can't get rebate for unifi =(

Nu Sentral not too convenient for me unfortunately.
*
Nope.

HLB or UOB is your best bet.

Hi guys, I am currently using maybank 2 cards. I've just applied for conversion  to Al-ikhwan. Now waiting for approval.

However, I took the balance transfer plan to transfer my outstanding balance. May I know if the balance transfer amount is the amount upon approval of my card? e.g. I have rm1k outstanding upon approval application. 2 days before card was approved, I paid another rm200 making current outstanding rm800. The balance transfer will be the rm800?

Sorry for the long message and thank you
*
It's Ikhwan. laugh.gif

You will transfer the RM 800 to your new card.

You can either

A - Settle it lump sum.

B - Convert to installment under Ikhwan.

I thought u could choose to separate limit but you need to lower your principal card CL.
*
It's shared with the main Card.

Let's say your main is 10k.

You can either let your main card and sub card to have a combined limit of 10k or you can reduce the sub card to a limit you prefer.

Is there any way for me to untick the Maybank Touch ‘n Go Zing card during online application process? I might have missed it.
*
MBB very kind one.

They won't send you the Zing card unless you personally requested for it.

Thou I have to admit la, the Zing card's really helpful since I travel a lot everyday.

No need to worry I can't go through any toll plaza anymore tongue.gif

Ahh..  I already apply for this card..

No difference between Gold and Platinum right?
*
Got difference.

Color difference.

No tax is applicable for the application of CC anymore nowadays.

Annual fees got la, but MBB's card mostly free except for their VS line-up and Amex cards.

Hi all
Just wanna ask regarding maybank tgv rm10 before 6pm
Anyone tried all tgv?and during weekend? Cos i heard some ppl said they not honouring it
In fact last year i went to tgv sunway. The rempit confectionery counter guy said maybank 10-20% discount doesnt exist although clearly stated in the website
Can anyone confirm this

Many thanks
*
Well, you can show them the T&C

If they refuse, call the manager come and politely explain.

Some staffs are part timers and have no info about such promotion.

If all else fails, just contact TGV directly and rant.

Pretty sure they will reimburse you somehow.

QUOTE(choonyink @ May 1 2016, 12:39 PM)
I have come across 6% charges. Very expensive lol.
*
I have written previously on Lowyat have to get your 6% upfront/surcharge waived and the merchant fined by Merchant Provider / actions taken by BNM if you search up my post.

Additional charges to installments are not legal and there's rules to govern such behaviors. It's up to us users to combat such surcharges and make sure those people are punished.

Side note : I have never seen any form of surcharge/upfront payment when I was overseas travelling. Paying a lump sum or installment yield the same nett effect. Either you cough up now or 6 months later.

Side note 2 : If the seller are GST registered, charging you additional 6% may cause their system to haywire, thus under / over capturing the GST amount. If you have enough free time, go ahead and complaint to Customs. They will definitely investigate since it's a chance to fine people 10~whatever amount they want due to violation.

Again, I have to shamefully admit that I did such things before and Customs did take actions to investigate laugh.gif

many gst registered merchant did this. the additional charges will not show in the receipt. so no system haywire. but by doing this actually you will see the charges obviously between the receipt of your bill and the receipt of your cc. so you may report if you want. lol...
*
You can complaint to Customs as well.

Say they try to avoid GST ( Even bigger sin according to Customs officer )

Confirm within 1 week will kena audit.

no la, all the gst clearly stated in the receipt. but they add some charges for cc swipe. so i believe they will use cash to settle it later. the cc swipe just masuk their account only.
*
Assuming :

Product A - RM 10,000 after GST

Upfront / Surcharge - 6% on the full amount after GST - RM 10,600 ( RM 600 = 6% surcharge )

On Tax Invoice - RM 10,000

On CC slip - RM 10,600

Gst Paid on based tax invoice - RM 600 ( 6% from RM 10,000 )

Gst paid on calculated from CC slip - RM 636.00 ( 6% from RM 10,600 )

Technically, they underpaid RM 36 for GST if they were to swipe 10,600 instead of 10,000.. You can always argue + CC slip =/= Tax invoice - Disputable.

Consumer will win if they know what to highlight to banks / BNM brows.gif

Erm, I think need to pay RM 10.60 and also it will auto reload when the balance goes lower than RM 200. I get more cash back to reload manually from Sam's Groceria and at anytime when I want to. biggrin.gif

I printed the form and filled in and submitted via email. That time, still cannot apply via M2U. biggrin.gif
*
Lower than RM 50, to be precise.

Oh, RM 50. I thought RM 200 but still not feasible for me. tongue.gif tongue.gif
I don't think you can cancel, that's the purpose of Zing card, it is supposed to auto reload for you when the credit runs low. biggrin.gif

I'm not sure about Maybank but CIMB charges RM 10.60 for the card fees..
*
Yeah.

But since I travel a lot and don't really have the time to reload manually, I seriously appreciate this card.

No longer need to keep track of my balances esp when travelling biggrin.gif
