I have tried to apply this card from Maybank branch 2 weeks ago and being rejected. Also, i have tried to apply this card from Imoney and they said that the card has been stopped since a month ago. is it true? I wish i applied for this card sooner.

Perhaps what they meant was the promotion has stopped. not the card.

Cause in M2U site, the card is still available.

These are the ways to get Ikhwan card provided you are an existing Maybank cardholder. Mine was rejected twice. Anyway, got it with second option.

Currently holding maybank2kard and also Visa Petronas Gold. I just received Visa Petronas gold recently then realized this card is useless since it's just TP and no cashback.
How long it takes for a card to be cancel? 8 months ?

You can cancel a card anytime, if that is your question

Today i have received email from Maybank and being rejected for the second time.

Please to informed that you are already submitted the MasterCard Ikhwan Credit Card application thru our Maybank branch at XXX and it unsuccessful on 3rd Feb 2016
due to high exposure to add Maybank Islamic card.

If you wish to add another Maybank MasterCard Islamic Ikhwan card, you need to close and convert all outstanding balance and points from your existing conventional card to new Maybank MasterCard Ikhwan card

I have send ther email for the 3rd time to request for split limits and hopefully they will consider it. I have no outstanding to settle at all as i always pay on time.

First time I see bank provide reason! What's your income and your CC limit totals?

My monthly income is 3.4k in 2015 and 3.6k starting Jan 2016. I have maybank2kard with combined 7k limit and petronas visa gold of 7k. Im nnt sure whether this 7k is shared between these 2 cc or separate.
Really? This is first time bank provide reason? Seems like they really dont want me to have this card.

I was also told that I'm high exposure when I was rejected by them for the first time.

Both cards are shared limit. Only Ikhwan will not share.

Try request to split limit from current maybank card instead of conversion

Yes, that's right. So when you request to split limit, it will be split from your current 7k and allocate some credit limit to Ikhwan.

Ah i see. Meaning my 7k credit limit was meant for both the cards and allocate let say 1k to ikhwan instead. Thanks again for clarifying.
