what is your exact cb received? RM29.00?

if i exclude the tesco online delivery (rm501.28), the max cashback you get is rm28.68.
*
yeah my CB is exactly RM29. i guess they have some rounding rounding somewhere? or maybe from dec got one didnt give of .32 CB? hahaha

not really, cuz mbb's cb calculation is accurate/exact. there's something missing or not calculated from your listing.

if my understanding is correct, the Feb posting would flow to Feb cashback pool. with that, cashback would be rm27.74.
*
i checked again and missed one petronas transaction of RM25.38
but after calc. end up cashback should be RM29.98... wtf?

confused. rclxub.gif

Normal. Refer to my post below:
I calculated it is RM 29.03. smile.gif
Just took out 18.90 because it was posted on 1st Feb, so it will be calculated as your Feb cash back.
So it is 25.38+252.15+47.47+52+53.42+26.65+39.85+83.70 = 580.62
5% cash back = 580.62*5% = 29.03
*
Ah.... I see. Gurl, you so smart! Thanks

Hi guys,

I just received the Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Gold and as a first timer, I found many info out there a bit overwhelming...please feel free to answer my questions below. Meanwhile, I'll try to catch up with all these info in LYN. Some questions below are very basic, sorry for that, just need to clear up for sure

1. Regarding paying the bills. Lets say if I use the card today, 21st feb. When normally the due date will be? Will it be end of this month (Feb) or end of next month (Mac)?

2. Secondly, for this : Cash withdrawal fee of RM10.60 or 5.30% of withdrawn amount, whichever is higher. How this Cash Withdrawal work for a credit card (as opposed to Debit Card?)

3. Cash advance charge : Higher of RM18 or 5% of cash advance amount. Can explain briefly about Cash Advance?

4.. FREE Maybank Touch ‘n Go Zing card. I was informed I'll be getting this card as well but I didn't. Does the cc actually come with this?

Thanks guys
*
1. need someone else feedback. i just pay several times a month. CC is just for convenience. not as a way to get myself into more debt whistling.gif
2 & 3. dont do it. avoid it like the plague! if you want cash, best way is to find some colleague or friend, they gib you cash and you pay for their bills. senang.
4. unless you always taking public transport or banyak toll. i think this is not really worth it. just go top up at the counter when you isi minyak. this one the service charge is quite tinggi...

can non-muslim apply this card?
*
yes. instead of winning umrah. can win holiday somewhere else.

"Umrah Trip. One weekly Umrah winner (package for 2pax) will be selected to win an Umrah package (for Muslims) or holiday package (for non-Musilms) - non exchangeable / transferable. Every RM200 and above spend in a single receipt is equivalent to 1x entry. Campaign starts 1st August 2014 and ongoing. Winner selection will be done every three (3) months."

Hi,

Is it worth it to buy groceries, food, movies etc with the credit card for the sake of the treatpoints?

Does the transaction fees/charges actually cost us more than paying them in cash?
*
for this card... its never worth spending REAL MONEY/CASH for points hahah. just use it when you need it. the transaction fee's will be absorbed by seller. unless you go to non-chain store like light shop or game store. then they may inform you got 2% or so charge. then really not worth it.

2. anyone apply at ringgitplus before? or u all went to maybank's branch?
*
I think need to cancel both. Can't cancel one.

In this example, if May transaction cash back is already RM50, would the total cash back include those transacted in April but posted in May? Like 30 April transacted RM100, get RM5 cash back. Total cash back for May is RM55?
*
to my knowledge, it would max out at RM50. and whatever you earned after that is voided.

Hi all,

I've just gotten this card, but i realized there's an acknowledgement receipt part in the mail with card.
It says to sign it and to return it to Maybanks.
Need to do this????
*
