My monthly income is 3.4k in 2015 and 3.6k starting Jan 2016. I have maybank2kard with combined 7k limit and petronas visa gold of 7k. Im nnt sure whether this 7k is shared between these 2 cc or separate.

Can split la, many of us have done that before, split from M2Cards. You can search this and previous thread. Unless you are super unlucky. We requested via email only, so easy.

You can convert but it's the whole combo, that means your AmEx will be gone as well.

I think I will try splitting my CL from my M2Cards first. I'm not blacklisted la haha how do they define high risk customer?

finally saw my plat ikhwan in m2u. after went thru with 2 rejections. 

(Jan 13th) 1st applied thru m2u in the morning - rejected immediately. call mbb & CS suggest apply thru branch.
(Jan 13th) 2nd applied at branch in the evening - rejected too after 2 weeks.
(Feb 9th) applied at klcc card center appealing for cl split - card now present in m2u.

however my m2c cl is still intact. haven't got split yet? or the cl reduction would take some time?

i would like to apply this card as well. Since currently my 2 cards consider useless liao.

1. May i ask whether i can just cancel maybank visa without cancel amex card? because some time i might use it for dining.

2. anyone apply at ringgitplus before? or u all went to maybank's branch?

sometimes ringgitplus also got free gift. the benefit is dont have to deal with the agent. ... dunno why some CC agent so damn annoying. yesterday i already raised my voice and almost yell at the RHB card guy... so persistent. hai....

btw, since the cb is only friday n saturday, what do you think about reloading tng? i think tesco accept payment via tng. with this u dont need to worry about only spending on friday n saturday. topup tng 1 time, then feel free to use anyday of the month

No reason to wait. If announced still will have buffer period in which you can enjoy cashback. Even if that's not long, rather you get something than nothing?

Credit cards are easy to cancel too.

Am trying to apply Ikhwan through M2U, the system show system error when i want to submit my supporting document. Called customer service seems they unable to help. Any advise?
