QUOTE(panda-man @ Dec 9 2015, 11:39 AM) if i get a supplementary CC for my wife. is my limit split to two cards or is it like a shared total limit? so supplementatry can use up total CL if they want. ... God forbid... hahah If your wife is working, try to ask your wife to apply as a principal card holder of Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan. You as principal card holder, and your wife as supplementary card holder: - Maximum RM 50 cashback per month, as cashback for supplementary card holder is added to that of principal card holder. You as principal card holder, and your wife as principal card holder: - Maximum RM 100 cashback per month.

QUOTE(CP88 @ Dec 10 2015, 04:55 PM) Wow! What's the content did you address to BNM? Dear Sir, Good day. I'm writing to file a complain on HSBC bank that decline my application without any reasons given despite I've fulfilled their minimum requirement. Since they refused to disclose the reason, therefore I want to escalate this to Bank Negara Malaysia to instruct HSBC to disclose the reason why my application being declined despite I'm debt free, annual income is over their published minimum income requirement for that particular credit card. I believe that as a consumer I have the right to know the reason why being declined and this seriously affecting my good credit reputation. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you. Regards, xxx

You will get TP but not for petrol and groceries on Fridays and Saturdays.

I always activate my credit cards before I go overseas, I forgot once when I went to Japan. After third transaction, Maybank tried to call me when I was in Shinjuku and I heard nothing. Wasted money for calls due to roaming.

It is just a flag in their system. Usually they will ask for your duration of travel; start and end date.
