Citibank CB is good for everyday petrol usage since it doesn't impose on certain days.

On top of that, Citibank gives 2% rebate on pharmaceutical chain.

for those cc that based on grocery mcc will get the cb. uob one and citibank cb plat are not based on grocery mcc but on specific hypermarkets only. econsave is under grocery mcc.
*
Citibank and UOB is definitely not worth for groceries category since only 2% and you have mentioned the other restriction.

If no choice, go for CIMB CR for groceries with MCC but only 2%.

If I understood it correctly, transactions at the counter of the station is considered as 'retail' rather than 'Petrol' category and won't be eligible for Cashback. Maybe I am wrong.
*
You're definitely wrong!

Tesco terminals are more general in nature compared to AEON whereby AEON has supermarket, wellness and departmental.

SAM'S Deli also entitled to cash rebate.

They should be using same MCC as Sam's Groceria.

The receipt print out from the CC terminal will tell you if that terminal is registered under Groceries, Departmental or Wellness.

To be more precise, on the merchant name at the top of the receipt.

yes, CS is useless.

based on feedbacks so far, none has gotten contactless card, without the contactless/"signal" icon printed on the card.
also, for mbb mastercard, they term it as generic "contactless" instead of "paypass"; whereas paywave is to Visa.

user posted image
either mbb's excluding contactless for mastercard (temporary? permanent?) or next batch/revision to include contactless.
*
Reissue a new card later will incur additional cost to them and a waste of resources. doh.gif
