UnderTale fan here. Finished the game quite some time ago but can't fully get over it, probably because it's the first game that made me, uh, have dust on my eyes. Ouch.

That aside, I actually thought UT Malaysia fans are quite abundant considering that they have a pretty complete cosplay group who are fans of the game during CF 2015. o.o Guess it's rare all over the Internet in general, huh.

A tip for future playthrough on spider battle: you can avoid it by buying something from the spider bake sale in ruins and eating said bake goods in front of her.

You must fight him. There is no way to spare Asgore.

Keep spamming attacks.

If you want to make the fight easier, you can lower his attacks and defense by talking to him until the game tells you that the method is useless. Alternatively, if you still have the Pie with you, you can eat it in front of him, decreasing his stats instantly.

Again, keep dodging and attacking until he is weak.

Move constantly. And be smart at dodging every time you get a Soul segment.

At the final phase, keep 'FIGHTING' him while getting the green objects at the same time.
