You are lacking a good healer. Without a good healer you cannot go very far in trial. CG Folka is coming soon in several months time and she is a great healer so you may need to hoard all your lapis and tickets for her. In the meantime you can use WW fina or Rosa to tide you through. Since you already have 7* kurasame and wilheim, it is good to focus on their TMR to max their potential. Olive not so much since she is a finisher and not that useful in the long run. Once you can get your kurasame to about 1.5k att then you can focus on survivability tmr instead (those that boost your HP, def and SPR.

If you have enough patience this game is actually quite f2p. A lot of f2p players can get even STMR now but they had played during the game launch. To get your tmr faster you can consider to macro with pc. For more info you can look at more advice from FFBE reddit. There are a lot of veterans there to guide you too.

YES and NO, almost every gacha game require you to spend so they can maintain and sustain, you can play without spend but you will need to pay more time and effort for it, people spending on summoning will get duplicate unit for 3* & 4* so they will fuse them up or TMR farm them multiple together then fuse it so that they require lesser unit to get the tmr, if you want to TMR farming to 100% is able but require tons of times and energy beside that the king mog events usually will finish your energy. click HERE & HERE for updated script to direct you to reddit TMR farming guide.

hmm... besiegetank said you need a good healer but i not really think that way though due a lot of trial need 5 person on a trial and i always removed healer from party due you got a good tank then you can survive and use support to heal or regen your party up unless i need reraise but trial like Machina of Destruction will require no magic so you need someone like zargabaath or vanille to reraise and sustain *enchantment require*.
another will be depend on your chaining
kurasame is strong but he's belong to quick hit family chaining and it's super hard to chain due to the gap to press them is really really close and small , same goes to tidus... i also almost give up on my 7* tidus due to very hard to chain  unless you using macro.
easier chainer in your list are Divine Ruination, got Raegen , Fryevia and Hyoh but synergy wise raegen are good due to he can imperil with fire which chain with hyoh and ice which is fryevia although hyoh having same 60% fire imperil and fryevia is having 75% when you enchant her "Frost Flower Blitz" to +2
so with the unit that you have i suggest you train

not sure the exact date for Xenogears global collab but it is confirmed by several youtubers. Elly is the most hyped as OP magic dealer so if you don't have complete magic team yet I highly suggest to save up for her too

as for Sieghard he is one of the best physical tank. Personally,he is also one of my favourite character after Akstar. Constantly bragging about his beauty lol so yeah it's a good distraction while shielding your team from enemy attack haha..

Hyoh is very TMR intensive to gear. Without TDH gear and level 30 LB, he's not that imba.

If you're still only midway through the game, I'd hold off on that uoc.

akstar is strong than hyoh in my opinion due to chaining skill family and their modifier, aurora freyvia (fan fiesta 2018 limited unit) is hybrid damage dealer so it's different on damage calculation depend on which stat you're gearing and hybrid damage dealer are alot hard to gear too. i been saving my uoc ticket just for akstar then he can chain with my 7* A2

yes, starting time i also used this item on many trial, they have alot good passive. remember to do weapon enchantment dungeon to get more stat for them to be more stronger, 100% status resist  can be done easily but 100% on particular element is easy as well especially fire but if all then it's very very hard, as for status resist there are some status which we couldn't resist ex.stop, charms and berserk unless they've special passive on it especially some trial which do preemptive strike and cast stop. trance terra are good but now she facing some issue on her A.Chaos Wave chain and limit unit to chain with, barbie is alot easier and tornado chaining is quite easy unless the boss is resist to wind else she can chain with tons of units. yes fountain of lapis is really good deal as long you keep playing for everyday login at least.
my fina doesn't require much as long my provoker is there or my aoe tank is there another would be great raven cape have a passive to 100% decrease chance of being target so unless the boss not doing aoe my fina most likely will not getting hit but sometimes it still will hit her but only once or twice xD

PG Lasswell is good TMR if u had unit like Hyoh.

For now, because of meta akstar is worthwhile for my current units lack chaining. BTW tidus is better to be TDH unit, IMO

Patriotic and Thirst are both great TMRs that have a long shelf life.

I would keep my moogles (especially since they're so limited for you) for 5* base due to trust abilities.
