I think it is best to plan for your child's insurance...I know that people will go for medical, life, personal accident, education....but if resources are limited, which should we go first?
in my opinion, I think it should go based on this hierarchy 1. personal accident - because children tend to get "hurt" more easily 2. medical plan 3. education 4. life - least important for the time being
btw, do you know how much the basic of each of these plan cost (I know it depends on sum assured, but what is the minimum sum assured)
planning to have a kid in two years time from now, thus planning the finances (so, agent please don't pm me...tis is pure discussion)

QUOTE(Veda @ Aug 7 2010, 11:25 PM) Let's say I buy an insurance policy from a bank branch. The product is from the bank's insurance sister company - like Affin Bank for Axa Affin and Hong Leong Bank for Hong Leong Assurance. Wonder if I can ask for discount if I buy from a bank branch? Another thing I'm curious about - are there any insurance agent that works directly for an insurance company, or do all agents work for agencies? actually bancassurance the charges are already lower than if you buy from agents
