Yup.loading might have since you have your health condition. i agree with what c.o.ol. said on medical card upgrade.
Please prepare extra budget if you wish to buy a standalone medical card as standalone medical card cost increase by age.

any decision make on surrender or upgrade, please consult your agent for further advice.

But there is cap to the amount of co-insurance. Maximum co-insurance is RM500. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hei my friend,

You did not mentioned on the co-insurance clause on the outpatient cancer and kidney treatment. If i'm not mistaken, its 10% up to no cap meaning every chemotherapy and radiotherapy and kidney dialysis, you also need to pay. Just an example, a chemo cost roughly Rm10k today meaning everytime get a jab also have to pay RM1000.

it is as charged subject to annual limit and overall lifetime limit. and also subject to 10% co-insurance

Agree with what c.o.ol. said. SmartMedic is medical card attach to ILP.
220 surely is not just medical card. surely life +disability+personal accident+critical illness add on to it. The pro about this plan is fixed premium and also all in it package under low premium cost.
The con is depend on what you think of ILP. The insurance charge will increase as year goes.
Smart Medic is GE ILP medical card. i can give your further advice if you need it.

Yes, its does cover all those. But am wondering is there other insurance company oferring similar plans? Dont really like the co-insurance things, ie
have to pay 10% or 500 each time hospitalisation.

The ILP, i was told that if terminate around age 60, can get back 50K. In the event of death, the payout is 50K, or if any of the 36 illness will
also get a lum sum of 50K.

So is this plan worth while, I am not sure.

yup. many company has this plan. this plan is worthwhile if you wish to get all in one protection with small premium value. Plus a medical card that is build in and guarantee renewable. Plus, the co-insurance can be cover by having Hospitalization income benefit rider. The premium is also waived when you have critical illness or disability(ge case). Plus it offer some sort of saving in it. i can explain or meet up with you wish you wish to understand further. The medical card even thought got co-insurance. but, please be aware, mostly no co-insurance medical card have limit on kidney and cancer treatment. In this case is as charged. Plus most of no co-insurance medical card will increase premium cost when get older and it is standalone.
Meaning when it is standalone, medical card might still be payed when you have critical illness.
when you have no co-insurance clause in it, the cost is hidden. Hospital will charged higher cost cos insurance companies cover and use up your annual limit faster than with co-insurance medical card.
