I'm 23 years old non smoker and going to start working next year. I can commit RM100+ per month. So far I've been looking around for Firstlink PRU, Etiqa Takaful and comparing them. I do not have any insurance policy atm. Any ideas? Great Easterns agent around?

Guys, I have health card from Prudential i.e. PRUflexi med. Annual coverage is 50K and lifetime limit is 1mil. I'm 24 this year. Any ideas if this is adequate? Should I topup more for annual coverage limit?

QUOTE(roystevenung @ Jul 17 2013, 10:01 AM) It boils down to your budget, instead of the agents budget. To be honest, if you re worried of serious prolonged hospital admission at a private hospital, even if you have an annual limit of Rm200k, it may not be sufficient. If the budget allows, I would recommend to spread out the premium evenly towards Critical Illness and medical. Do take into account that you would also have your company cover on top of the annual limit from your personal medical card. The annual limit is more important than the lifetime limit. Hi Roy Thanks for your reply. I am just wondering whether the annual limit is sufficient for myself. My firm does not have medical coverage. How do I "spread out" the premium evenly towards CI because the PRUFlexiMed will cover "as charged". For CI I have Great Eastern already. This post has been edited by izwanz: Jul 17 2013, 02:19 PM

QUOTE(SithBuster @ Jul 18 2013, 01:07 AM) As you said, your firm does not provide medical coverage. This will leave you in a vulnerable financial state if some big medical condition would occur that would give you a big headache with big medical bills. Annual limit that is less than RM100 000 is definitely not enough as it would be hard for you to topup in the future if some major operation should occur. You don't want to be stuck with a medical plan that is insufficient to meet followup treatment costs, right? How much is your GE CI cover? Investment linked with 36 CI only? Hi Sith My GE is the Smart Protect Essential 2 whilst Prudential is Prulife ready. My agent hasn't responded to me regarding my enquiry. Please advise what I can do.

Any ideas what I can do if my agent doesn't reply to my emails? Can I just transfer and appoint somebody else without going through him?
And anyone here know any insurance that covers people who lives in strata buildings i.e. flats, apartments that also covers lift/elevator breakdown, accident etc.
