Probably you can consider ALLIANZ with No Annual Limit with affordable premium. The Benefit are as:

- No Overall Annual limit
- No Co-Insurance
- Coverage up to 91 years old
- Put-patient benefits for emergency treatment of accidents, cancer as well as kidney dialysis. (As Charge, No limit)
- Refund of unutilized Room and Board entitlement upon hospitaliseation
- No claim reward
- comprehensive benefit ranging from reimbursement for specific pre and post hospitalisation treatments to homee nursing care and ambulance fees
- Hassle-free hospital admission and discharge from Our approved network of hospitals with your Medical Card (up to 42 Panel Hospitas in KL-Selangor)
And etc..

Please contact me for more info.

i heard now eventho u got medical card u still need to pay admission fees range RM300 to rm1000?
how about if GL is issued still need to pay or no need?
need to clarfiy on this matter

tq
*
I believe the admission fees are depends on Insurance company & policy. Some insurance company will no need admission fees/co-insurance.

With GL letter, hospital will directly bill to the insurance company. Any exclusion or clause will state in the GL letter.
Of cause GL letter only issued when the hospital is their panel. Else the person will need to pay & claim which are quite troublesome.

Hi Sifus,

Any one can recommend which insurance to buy for the budget below?
Age -24 in a few weeks time. occupation- in office(less risk)
Female. healthy.
Cost: Less than RM200 per mth
Death/Total Permanent Disability: RM100 - 150k
Critical Illness: RM50-100k
Medical R&B: RM150 - RM200
Medical Annual Limit: RM100k above
Medical Lifetime Limit: RM1m and above
*
Hi Stephvin,

With your budget premium of RM200 or less with high protection is quite challenging.

I believe I can match your requirement with Medical Card no annual limit and no admission Co-Insurance plus premium wavier.

Please PM/email me if you interested to know more.

Thanks

What's the point of having unlimited lifetime limits if annual limits is critical? Just focus on what kind of protection you want and your affordability.

Yes, The main reason we get medical card is to protect ourself from heavy medical cost. What if we hit by cancer or other serious illness that the treatment cost can be as high as RM300k. Certainly we can't tell hospital or doctor to do partial treatment and hold the rest treatment till next year due to the medical card annual limit.

If money is not a issue, who refuse to get a better treatment.

Thanks for sharing.

what if she quits from her current job as a fill time agent and join other industry instead?

Agent is still a human & may go travel, get sick & pass away. Of cause he/she will responsible to handle your case, advise & assist.

Any how, the most important is the Agency still around, the policy and insurance company still enforce. Policy holder can always call help desk for assist and claim issue. Please don't be surprise if agent process claim may take weeks, but if we claim ourselves may be less then a day. All because insurance company always put customers 1st, abd agents 2nd or 3rd.

Hi all,

Alright, after scouring the vast Internet and its myriad of information, I have now more or less made up my mind.

Please suggest me an insurance plan,
which have the followings (or at least most of it) :

[1] Low premium (haha, if only. Possibly as low as RM50, max is RM100)
[2] High TPD coverage
[3] Inclusive of CIs (36, or is it 42 now?)
* NOTE: I am not overly concern if the death benefit is low, as if I am dead, am not using the money after all. And my God can't be bribed)

[4] If it is an investment-linked, it has to be Shariah-compliant
[5] Allows me flexibility to change riders/coverage amount/allocation between protection and investment, as and when deemed fit
[6] Would be great if it is internationally accepted (e.g kena hospitalize in US of A, the insurance can cover. You see, I do not have ObamaCare) Jokes asides, this is not critical, but would be good to have.

Do rain my PM with your proposals, and may the best man (or lady, for the matter), wins smile.gif

Bro, first of all, the cost of insurance is base on our age. Mean the older we are the higher the cost, due to the health risk are increase.

Honestly, insurance company are profit oriented company. Not a charity organisation or NGO. So insurance only accept the person in good health, reject people who are sick.

If looking for good return & gain from what we paid, probably never be insurance. (Unless someone willing to lose their life of get injure)

Maybe we can hope government in this budget can announced a low cost insurance with best protection which private insurance company never can provide.

how about co-insurance?

let say i kene co-insurance rm1000 from prudential.

can I claim it from allianz the rm1000?
*
Great Question...

Why not just get a non-co-insurance policy? Save the trouble of claiming the balance from other company?

For Allianz medical card, no overall annual limit as well.

Uiks, am anticipating the answer to be no.

Then how does 1 claim for this?

Provide the hospital bill to 1 ins co, and then the receipt for bill paid to another ins co to claim for the 10%?

+1

This is quite common sense, the co-insurance is base on the policy, not longer partial of medical bill.

Impossible the co-insurance can be claim, unless Prudential bill the co-insurance as medical bill hmm.gif

Anyone heard about i-insure, which is a PA insurance coverage,
provided by Multi-Purpose Insurance Bhd?

The premium is only @ RM50/annum!
Coverage is for death, and permanent disabilities.
Sum covered is RM50k.

Link to the site: http://i-insure.com.my/i-insure/index.php

What are your take on this?
Is it good, not bad, or lowya insurance?
*
This is Personal Accident Insurance. Nothing fancy and new.

Cheap but only claimable upon death and permanent disabilities cause by accident.

Thanks all for the feedbacks smile.gif

From what I can deduce;

1) No cash value i.e money paid is non-refundable
2) PA only. In case of death, and permanent disabilities. Nothing else

However, am not sure what this meant :
"The coverage is not for death and permanent disabilities, the coverage is for accidental death and permanent disability." Ain't it the same?

And I believe this is better than nothing. But definitely not sufficient to be relying on this PA only. Is it aptly said?

Try get a agent face to face explain or go for training. You will understand more.

I gave them an e-mail, and they responded:

It's actually good to take up policy prior to the surgery, as there may be chances that the surgery may cause accidental TPD.

I agreed with that.

And when I mention whether it is required to declare about the upcoming surgery, they mention no need.

On the downside, it only covers loss of sight to both eyes, which is claimable at 100%. Loss of sight for only an eye, then can't claim at all.

Sigh..
*
Bro, think about Life/TPD, PA is the last thing we want to claim. Although is cheap, but we can't really claim and use it for ourselves.

Touch wood, if any of incident happen, the 1st thing & the most basic thing we need is medical.

My friend's husband, only 27 diagnose nose cancer, spend 70k++ for surgery (exclude outpatient). Lucky claim with insurance, else my friend & his family will have financial problem due to medical cost.

Illness is getting young these day, the most valuable thing in our life is health. Must take care before too late.

Hi my friends,

How do I know whether my agent offered me a good deal for life with mlta insurance? I'm not sure whether the premium I'm paying is too high or too low (good deal) for the sum I insured...
Well this is my first time and I don't have any benchmark...
Can I post the insurance details with premium paid here?

Bro, just get another quotation from another insurance agent.

Please PM me if interested.
