the next question is: how many people is willing to fork out the $ to pay for stand alone medical card after 70 years old?

I just got the premium table for AIA ECP+MCP (AIA ECP+MCP Premium) and it costs >7k for medical coverage over 70 years old

How many people willing to fork out? Its depend on the people actually, if he think he has financial stable and dun mind to pay for it for a peaceful sleep every day, why not?
And not all people will go for unlimited lifetime limit, maybe 600k or 900k will do for them? That will not cost so much for sure.

Well some people buy medical card as a rider with their life policy. Use the cash value accumulated to pay the medical card expenses every year. Medical card rider can be paid monthly, for those who can't fork out high premium at once. Standalone? no.

Hi All,

Got a colleague turn agent ask me wanna buy insurance or not.

I currently dont have any insurance coveraga, so he
Recommended me Smart Medic  -GE, monthly payment is RM220.

Not sure to take it up or not.
Anyone have this, whats the pros and cons of this plan.
Is there a better plan from other insurance company out there?

Btw - age is 31, non smoker.

Thanks is advance.

I believe tons of them. On par if not better.

Why not let the agents know what kind of protection u after instead of they design u a plan?
Basically that should be the way, learn what the customer want instead of prepare customer something they may want/not want.

Eg, breakdown on what u require. CI/CPA/CIWP/medical and etc.

Well, for your information, ING is up to 80.
Do anyone feel that they need coverage up to 100?
*
Have u thinking of its better to have the option for customers to choose from?
even though not all customers will want it but u never know what are they thinking around the age of 80 or 85.

am looking at a medical insurance scheme, was wondering what's the difference between having a "hassle free" and one which gives me a medical card? Hope someone can help me clarify this...

What u mean hassle free here?

Are you talking about an insurance package that is just protection plan? Please elaborate more.
