to me it boils down to luck and with no recognised striker upfront we are toothless (like theres any difference when we have striker upfront anyway).

watched the highlights, personally i think we still have the issue of handling compact defence. Porto particularly didnt had this in the game, which we can move the ball easily. anyway this is just my take from the highlights.

the chanting of "where were you when we were shite?" does really reflect satuday's game. suddenly everyone looked so lively (even fab, even JT making run into the box in open play, even costa)
echoing hakka_jin im happy for the win but im too, sad seeing the fans standing behind JM. I guess when people say JM is 3 season wonder, it does make sense. |

looking back at our form, im happy to get 1 point and mind you against united! (bar their poor recent form). in this game u can see that they were trying hard to win it, bombarding us left and right.

good to see RLC scored
1st half was possession game pass and pass and pass left right 2nd half the irons got a bit more physical if scunthorpe was any better yesterday, they could have converted those rare chances well, we need to solve our defense having ramires on the field doesnt help |

well on marin's issue i guess the manager has a better view during training on what is best for the team. Marin is unfortunate because at that time we fear of not getting hazard (since he was considering several options) and we got marin as replacement. His injury also didnt help him while he was with us. Hoping to see him donning the blues again some time in the future, he was dubbed German Messi not for nothing aint it?
