I pay RM26 to get it from the grocery store. Too lazy to wait for them to come.
It's only about 25kg when full. Most people can lift that quite easily. Of course I also have a beat up old car. Put some wood in the boot, and put the tank on top. It could be dangerous if you have to drive any distance, and if somebody bangs into your car when it has a full gas tank in the back. Fortunately for me, it's 100m to the corner grocery store, and the two roads I have to pass are small single lane roads with cars parked in front of people's houses, forcing everyone to go at 20km/h.
RM26 for 14 kg tank ? That's dirt cheap. My regular gas delivery man charge me RM32. I wish there is a grocery store nearby where I could pickup a tank myself and save a few RM. Just push the tank to 1 end of the boot and put a piece of wood or brick to stop the tank from rolling around - no big deal. It's only about 25kg when full. Most people can lift that quite easily.
