Sorry for hijacking ur thread, for some weird reason im unable to post new topics in the forums. Soemthing wrong with my connection / router
Im sorry dont know where else to go for help... i have this level 1 wireless router (but i connected using cable). worked fine, till after the latest wow patch. Now my problems is when i connect, invisible character, everyone else naked, names are unknown, cannot talk or do any actions, latency is not updated and shows 0ms, and will DC after 1 minute. Seems like information coming in is being filtered, and no outgoing data allowed. If i connect directly without router i am fine. I tried fixing by deleting WTF/interface folders, setting offload checksum to disabled in network card, and did portforwarding properly, and set a static IP for my computer, and even updated the routers Firmware. Pls someone help me, i need to find out how to make my router work with WOW... its Level 1 router model WBR-3406TX |

Do you use mod? If yes, disable all mod. Delete them and then restart the Wow. Should solve the problem.

To the guy with the problem. Go to your WoW folder, look for a subfolder named cache. Inside that one make another folder called WDB. Now go into WDB and make another folder called enUS.
The path should be WoW/cache/WDB/enUS This should fix the problem. It might take a few relogs to built up enough cache information so that the problem goes away. The whole 'bug' stems from the fact that WoW somehow fails to create said folders, resulting in it needing to query the server for all your items, settings ect everytime you log on and causing a de-syncing with the server. |
