Hey wondering which is the most recommended digital piano for beginners?
Having trouble which piano to buy, I will usually play at home and not bringing it anywhere.
I found Yamaha p-45 , Korg sp170dx.
These two are almost at the same price point.
Any more recommendation for a starter like me?
Also what is differences between sp170s and sp170dx. The price is 500 different...
All reply will be deeply appreciate thank you laugh.gif

If u enjoy tweaking/playing around with music software, u can try midi keyboard. I bought those cheap 25 keys usb midi keyboard years back when it's still a hype and link/assign to Reason for the sound.

There are many free music production software with same ability nowdays to download with countless of piano/keyboard/synth sound sample. This how i learn to play piano lol, but the downside is u need labtop/PC and extra attention to setup the key weight to imitate real piano sound (that's where the fun part is smile.gif)

If i not mistaken SP170S doesn't come with a stand. While SP170DX comes with a stand.

In my opinion, I will go for Yamaha P45 rather than SP170 because it has more polyphony, though slightly more only.

the downside is that its speaker is only 6W while Korg has 9W.
