Using 30mb nearly a month now, so far so good, test speed quite stable.
Q: last few day try upload photo to cloud, few g sizes 1 time go, during uploading my download become unstable, watch youtube 360p also laggy, but when upload completed everything smooth and 1080p also np. Does full speed upload will cause download/stream slow a lot? how important upload speed when watch stream video?
Q: 30/5 mean separate 30mb download & 5mp upload speed? or d+u total = 30mb?

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Dec 5 2015, 04:25 PM) What you encountered was buffer bloat. It's the downside of asynchronous connnection. If you max out either download or upload, the other throughput will be affected. Think of your connection as utilizing one steel pipe with 2 smaller rubber pipes inside. If one of the rubber pipe bloats, the other will be bottlenecked. How to remedy this? Well, technically you can't. But you can mitigate the issue by using QoS, set a custom parameter on your router so that your upload does not hit maximum speed when you are using any of your downlink bandwidth. So for your case, if you turn on YT and start to stream a vid, your router should automatically place a cap on your upload speed. QUOTE(blacktubi @ Dec 5 2015, 04:31 PM) SQM on OpenWRT is able to fix that. It is much more effective than conventional QoS. wow, thanks guy... learn new thing today, will try know more about it later... appreciate.... thank again!!
