hi guys, i need your opinion. the signal in my room is weak, i was in a dilemma to replace a better router or just get a wireless repeater. after some studies of my own, i think i would go for repeater because it's more budget and also because the actual distance between the router and room isn't far, so i believe the repeater is enough for the job. can anyone tell me exactly how the repeater works. is the repeater working as a secondary router? if yes, that means my connection will come from repeater before it sourced internet from router? so will the connection also be less stable? or anyone of you think it's a waste better buy a new router?

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Jan 14 2016, 04:26 AM) Repeater = sniff the signal from your router and retransmit it to you. The downside to it is that you will lose at least half of your speed(because the repeater is acting as the middleman between you and router). Its better for you to get a new router. State your budget and forumers here will recommend a decent one for you thx for the info. budget around 150, 10 devices connecting at the same time
