Is there a lot of difference than getting  Asus RT-N12HP or RT-N14UHP instead pf tplink TL-WR841ND
*
I just changed from 841nd to n12hp, the reason was the signal was not strong enough and because of that I was not getting full speed using wireless. btw my 841n is already flashed to dd-wrt and I am on unifi 30mbps.

so 841nd is good? my house is small so i dont think i will need a powerful router anyway. as long it doesnt drop connections i think that is enough for me

Are you gonna use this on 30mbps? Another issue i had was i couldnt get pass beyond 21mbps on wifi, sometimes i could sometimes i couldnt, really frustrating. The only reason i could think of is the signal quality/strength wasnt good. I have no complain if u going to use this with 5/10 mbps, been using this for many many years, very reliable.
