Hello guys.
Interested to get the 30mbps as I am fed up with the 1mbps though its cheap (RM68 since 2009 - unipack mah~) So far so good for the 30mbps users btw? Actually, i have been reading this thread on and off, found out that the default modem/router from TM is performing averagely. So, may I ask, is RT-AC55UHP that good in terms of getting the best of out the buck? |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jan 27 2016, 02:21 PM) Hmmm???? Not sure hows the price range for a Mid range modem+router, perhaps you could start with a few recommendations? QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jan 27 2016, 02:22 PM) The stock router is fine if you are just a light user but it is terrible if you have a lot of users. Hey there, you got an awesome site =)The RT-AC55UHP is great. Wireless AC, perfect Unifi compatibility and good firmware. The only bad thing about it is the price. Not sure how to determine a lot of users, but normally there will be 3 to 6 users depending on situation. I consider that as many already Wow thats a whooping RT-AC55UHP - RM569 from the Asus RRP... Anyone else here is using this and so far so good? This post has been edited by jason18689: Jan 28 2016, 08:44 AM |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jan 28 2016, 02:56 PM) Thanks! Welcome =)For 3 to 6 users, the stock router should be fine. But the AC55UHP provide greater range and way faster wireless. Good for future proof. Lots of information can be read over there, good job Which modem+router do you use btw? Just curious to know. Anyway, since I am subscribing the 30mbps, do you guys send in the application through the TM branches or find those agents to run for you? RM179 = 30mbps + HyypTV right? Hence, plus the 6% GST would be around RM190 for the final total bill per month? |

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 30 2016, 07:12 AM) me and my brother torrent heavily with adv50, stable, doesn't have any problems since day one. the disadvantage is only the upload we face. couldn't help to upload faster than vip20 that's all. Location? As i believe this unstable Unifi Advance 30/50 defers from locations. |

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 30 2016, 10:05 AM) kuala Terengganu, maybe in early stage of adv package the problem occur. in our thread also got forumers have problems during early adv promotion...but now most of them have no problem at all I see.I still keep my fingers crossed, though my area has been pretty stable so far (from what i could gather the information based on several neighbours). So your bill is RM229 + GST? |
