QUOTE(herojack41 @ Jan 28 2016, 11:43 PM) dem...... will see how.....total up is another rm20 tho..... not rm10 I'm paying RM 179 excludes GST but I can pay with one of my credit cards and get 10% cash back. So don't really feel the pain.

QUOTE(spoonudus @ Jan 29 2016, 12:27 AM) All in. With aneka hyptv package included. Not included gst. It is a targetted rate. I have been denying their offer many times before for 179, which is the current promotion on the websites. they do specifiy that it comes with 2 years contract and the rate also valid for 2 years as well. But by that time there might be another promotion coming? Lol anyway thats additional saving of at least 240 more than most people. Good to know that. Hope you have a black and white for this. Seen many cases here "cheated" by these telemarketers. Yes, I also don't bother if it is 2 years or what, who knows next month I will upgrade to 50Mbps?

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jan 29 2016, 11:24 AM) I'm interested to see how Celcom will price its fixed broadband. They were quite competitive in the mobile data field recently. If there's some sort of promotion like how Maxis offers its own OnePlan subscribers, then it should be good too. My only concern would its customer support team, they are usually not trained much on technical aspects and more likely to read from a script and then lodge a report. After that, usually their follow up is pretty slow also. Yeah me too and our company is using Celcom and they are our customer, we are their customer. Hoping they will give us some corporate bundled package for fixed broadband. Then again, look at Maxis Fibre, last I heard it was quite bad compared to UniFi. Not sure now but it seems to give me an impression that TM (UniFi) always keeps the best for themselves.

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jan 29 2016, 11:31 AM) The problem with Maxis is probably heavy throttling on peak hours, but I think that is to be expected, when UniFi were still offering their VIP packages, Maxis' packages were cheaper than UniFI. Logically speaking, how can Maxis be cheaper when they are riding on TM's infrastructure (cost involved). Exactly. I will stick to UniFi for now. Unless they can give us some interesting bundle. Anyway, let's see how it fares. I still remember those days when I used Celcom broadband.

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jan 29 2016, 11:52 AM) Yes I remember as well, I think last time fixed broadband wasn't an option for you right, and the plan was like D68/D98? Yes, fixed broadband wasn't an option and it was a luxury to subscribe D98 during my university time. Then, suddenly quota kicked in, I switched and hopped to several until I gave up and ended up with UniFi since 2014.

Not sure if it is a glitch but it could be real. My free calls feature seems has been removed from my package. This is how my bundle looked like previously: And this is how my friend's bundle looked like, hers doesn't come with free calls: And just checked now, it is showing as below for both of our accounts: Does anybody with free calls earlier also same like my case?

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 30 2016, 01:57 PM) yup, RM229 or RM242 including gst. 50mbps with 20mbps is a huge gap for downloads. so u need to rethink about keeping ur 20mbps. but if ur area seriously under unstable connection...I think most of the problem occur maybe because of the router cannot support 50mbps connection. Have you got your 20Mbps upload speed? If not, I think you can complain now, it is already announced on their website. https://tm.com.my/#/explore

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 30 2016, 03:11 PM) i think the unstable is not happen all users, yes i saw people complaining about youtube buffering, game pinging time, facebook and apps store. but i also saw people not having problems with new unifi package. The Apps Store issue is no longer there. YouTube issue is once a while for me. Facebook already solved months ago for me. I don't game so I don't know. So far I'm satisfied with my UniFi.

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 31 2016, 11:26 PM) thnkssss fruitie ...your advise was very excellent....others that still don't get the 10/20mbps upload call/tweet/email CS to report about this...at Terengganu the unifi technician didn't received any news or letters from TM center about this upgrade matters..yeah the download they said already exceptional...so maybe after the migration of cloud of what so ever and I don't understand what the technician told me on the phone my download speed will be 50mbps+. 47mbps -48mbps is my average speed. never exceeded 49mbps. I was just joking la. I jealous of 50Mbps.

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Feb 1 2016, 12:53 AM) tm silently giving more upload to adv user maybe to attract vip5,10,20 to upgrade and sign contract with them for 2 years. If they call me and give me RM 199 for 50Mbps, I may consider. That said if only my router is capable to go for 50Mbps.

I think TM blocks the port for my company's private network on my phone (for Cisco Jabber and VoIP app). Sigh. Took God damn long to connect. So, I had to use my mobile data to connect and after connected, quickly switch it over to my UniFi then only works. This post has been edited by fruitie: Feb 1 2016, 01:59 PM
