QUOTE(Luftwacko @ Jul 17 2011, 02:04 PM) Thanks a bunch. There doesn't seem to be any review on the Strider Essential 700W, but considering that Silverstone is pretty well known for power supplies which are good / excellent in quality, I don't see any reason to not get it other than price factor.I think I'll get a Corsair GS 700W based on ur recommendation. EDIT: Is Silverstone Strider Essential 700W good? QUOTE(kuekwee @ Jul 18 2011, 09:43 AM) If it's a good 600W power supply then it should support two GTX560s. |

QUOTE(mhyug @ Jul 18 2011, 10:02 PM) The efficiency rating doesn't affect the PSU's ability to supply power, even if it doesn't even have 80plus certification but it can supply enough power the PSU can be used.As efficiency goes higher, power wasted as heat goes lower, that's all.Anyway,if the PSU in question can supply 500W or more on the 12V rail(s) then it's going to be fine. |

Interested currently in Silverstone SST-ST60F-ES - 600W. Sifus, please tell me what you know about this psu Thanks QUOTE Conclusions Hardware Secrets Golden Award The Enermax NAXN 80+ 600 W is a power supply targeted to the average user. For this kind of user, it provides a very good value, with high efficiency ranging from 83.1% to 86.6% if you pull between 120 W and 480 W (dropping to 80.2% at 600 W), very low noise and ripple levels, and very good cable configuration (not many 600 W units provide seven SATA power connectors). Voltage regulation, although not “flawless,” is acceptable, especially for the market share this unit is targeted at.
