Rite now I'm using st50f and foxconn mars. The prob is, sometimes whenever I've change the settings in the bios, after saving changes, my pc will power off completely for a few seconds and then reboot. But the changes still effective and so far there's no visible damage (stability, capacitor, mobo surface).

2nd, when i plug in the cooler master "90cfm" fan, my pc will power on for a few second and then power off again, the cycle will repeat until i switch off the power and remove the fan. Everthings fine with my mobo.

Corsair VX550 is good for 4870. I'm using VX450 (with 4850) and I can't tell the fans is spinning until i flip my casing and see it by myself. Very quiet and very cool running without aircon.

Until today no insufficient power problem.

Alright thanks, I'll keep that in mind. How about Gigabyte Odin 550w, is it good? Or any other suggestions?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to purchase a new system:

Core2Duo 8400 3Ghz
2x2GB Corsair XMS2 DHX
Asus P5Q
Gainward 4850GS

Reusing my DVDRW, sata HDD, FDD and Soundblaster.

I was just wondering if my CoolerMaster Realpower 450W is sufficient for gaming on the 4850GS? Anyone using roughly the same setup successfully?

I've a friend who uses realpower 450w and 4850GS. The PSU tend to make pitch noise though. AMD system though for his.

I myself is using a E8400, 4850GS and Huntkey VPower 550W. PSU makes noise as well when fps goes really high during those stressing program like atitool. (1000fps lol).

Hi all, really need your expertise on this:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

And my rig as below:

Intel Pentium D 805
Cooler Master Hyper TX 2
ASUS P5KSE EPU
Kingston value 2 x 1gb and 2 x 512mb
Pioneer DVR-213LS DVD-RW and Lite-On DVD-RW rom
HIS ATI 1600XT (Spoilt)
Western Digital 640GB + Western Digital 250GB
Acbel 450watt PSU
Cooler Master Ammo 533 Casing
DELL 2409 LCD monitor
Cooler Master 2 x 12cm LED fans

Based on the spec here, is it my PSU is a 450watt real power? And what say if i add the HD4850 graphic card in my rig, will it under power? Cos i had the budget for the card just my PSU stop my way. sweat.gif

Thanks in advance. smile.gif
