Hows this compare with Ferodo zero? I am going to run out of brake pad already. Also why sometimes only when i brake my brake will give out some stupid sound like squeeking sound... annoying la.

I am driving a neo too which is barely 6 months old. My best advice to you is, go ditch your stock pads and get the RS 550 degree performance brake pads ("the brake pads"). You're asking why? Seriously, I ditch my stock pads just yesterday and installed the brake pads in one of the RS dealers and boy, the brake pads are great. They bite and the pedal feel is excellent. It's very firm and stop your car so much better than our stock pads.

I don't feel any spongy feeling anymore but bear in mind I changed both the pads and brake line together. (brake line is just to maintain the pedal feel after repeated hard braking. So this reduced spongy feeling is mainly associated with the brake pads)

I did a test yesterday but my test might differ from you because I ditched my tyres too and is now using michelin ps3.

It was raining rather heavily yesterday and I was travelling on the road at around 80 km/h before deciding to do a hard braking and yes, I can stop where I want to.

I just want to say, expect to cut down your braking time (which allows you to brake much later) with the brake pads.

Btw, I am just sharing my personal experience with the brake pads. I don't get paid in writing this nor any discount.
Rapid stop is like what its name implies, it stops your car rapidly.
