yup, when you roll a parallel coil it's basically like having two coils worth of resistance since a parallel coil is two wires wrapped together in a single coil (just making sure we're in the same page with terminologies)

18650 batteries rated at 3.7v indicates that that's it's nominal usage voltage. the max voltage they hold on a full charge is 4.2v

used in a mech mod, you'll feel the voltage drop around 3.7 and you'll switch to freshly charged batteries lol

with regulated mods however you're able to well, utilise it till its empty (not adviced) which is usually 2.5v
*
hmmm im confused with parallel coil. u mean like stacking them tgt?? so resistance will be higher or lower?

a parallel coil is when you wrap two wires in a parallel into a single coil like the picture :P

it'll half the resistance c:

dual coil = dual single wire coils

dual parallels = two of those in the picture xD

so if make 0.5 and 0.5 in parallel like in pic it will be .25ohm correct? hmmmm.

Any Mechanical otai here, i need some suggestion. As we know mechanical fire the atty around 4.05v-4.15v at full battery. Let say i make coils total of 0.5ohm, meaning ill get around 33watts. Good? The question here:

1) What is the ideal coil resistance for mechanical for good taste?
2) What is the ideal coil resistance for mechanical for bigger cloud?
3) Usually you do single coil? Dual coils? Quad coils? for mechanical.
4) How often you replace your coils in a month?
*
It comes down to personal preference. You did not state what atty you're using. If it has small air flow then if you coil it below 0.5ohm it gets real hot.
Start at 0.5ohm, then build at lower or higher as you like.

All of the modern regulated mods have cut off. From 3.4V to 3.1V.

lol just sharing, remember to always vape safe. write down the formulas I mentioned to calculate wattage and amperage and if you could, invest in a good multimeter to make sure your battery is at a safe voltage when fully charged c:

regulated mods are one thing, but mechanical mods or those wishing to dabble in it should do it safely imo

yeah, just stating that 2.5v is the full discharge voltage of the battery.

way ahead of ya, jz snapshot of that formula u were talking about notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

yea, maybe when i used it like few months will check with a multimeter to see if it's still good.
wats the hazard of having low voltage batterY?

How many of you guys are straying away from local juices?

I realize i can't take local juices anymore, they are either too sweet or have coloring. Now we even have juices with foreign substance in it sweat.gif

at full charge, if it's way below than 4.2v for an 18650 it simply means that the cell inside the battery is depleted, which is normal with usage, hence it isn't safe to be pulling high amps from it anymore

if you pull too close to the depleted amp rating, bad things will happen ,_,

which is why when my batteries gets to 3.9v or so at full charge I'll just use it on either my vaporshart or pass them to my friends that uses regulated mods

local premium still fine for me, those CC, Dr Brew I couldn't stand anymore. Too sweet and easily gunk up the coil/cotton.

nope, fda is pushing a ban on it

casaa was rallying people to skip local statesmen and congress reps for now and urging people to call the white house directly

i dont see why can label premium if using 5 flavorings, base + supporting..
if the flavorings are from TFA/TPA or Flavor West, most international brewers categorized this flavorings as entry level flavoring, good and cheap but there are those mid range flavorings such as Capellas while top of the line would be FlavorArt, Inawera..
even a mix of TFA and Capella shouldn't be considered as premium as well..
most PG VG are of USP Grade, that qualifies as premium PG VG?  shakehead.gif
nic also depending on source. some mentioned as US NIC but are they?
those who vapes at high nic 9mg and above would be able to notice the difference in nic hit especially in tanks..
drippers fall a bit short as well..
*
If we look at those leaked reciepes brows.gif I notice there gonna be a few flavours in 1 recipes.
Flavouring maybe, pricing for flavouring are different for each flavour. icon_question.gif
But again, not much different if i'm not mistaken.
USP grade are sooo standard stuff. laugh.gif
For nic, i thought of experiment with US and other nic.
Gonna brew 2 batch US and other nic.
Then just see, which nic satisfy me and my friends.

So where do we draw the line for premium and standard?
