QUOTE(shootkk @ Dec 21 2015, 08:54 AM) Guys, any ideas how this came about? Lens flare I reckon. Nothing much, it's normal when you shoot under sun.Is this flare or something else? The shot was done facing the sun. Morning around 11am. Done using my 85mm f/2.8 lens If I move a little to the side, it will be gone. I did see the effect in the viewfinder but I thought that it was just some reflection on my glasses (yes, I wear glasses) but it came out in the pic. ![]() |

If i'm not mistaken, at most 10-15 minutes exposed to cold weather is okay, anything more than that will cause damage to your camera.

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jan 4 2016, 08:57 AM) I feel the thing about weather resistance and sony cameras is more about hit and miss together with your luck That's because salty ma. my a7 have gone through rain and sunshine (as shown in my pics few post back), but so far it's been working fine, I've also did a few long exposures under cold temperature this few weeks in London at night, all below 10c. On the other hand I've also read horror stories on DPR that 1 owner screwed up his a7 II just from sweat that manage to sip through the camera housing and fry the electronics (seriously |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 5 2016, 09:10 AM) what? seriously? I didnt know that... You can count yourself lucky for that. i was walking around for hours most of the time around 2ºC and for a few days from -2ºC to -10ºC didnt seem to affect anything except battery life. Battery shows Red already but still can take pics though. |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jan 28 2016, 12:01 AM) yo guys, i am planning to get the A6000. just wondering, what lens setup do you guys normally get? i will fly to Vietnam soon, so need a good lens setup but worry that the default 16-50 lens is not enough, so might plan to get 55-210 as well. Most important question when you planning to buy a camera is to ask yourself what would you normally shoot. Scene or people? I normally shoot scenery and still shots, so I'll have a prime and wide angel lens with me when I travel. Hardly bring out the zoom lens because I don't normally shoot people, and the stuff I shoot hardly moves. im still a noob BTW. Let me know if you planning to get one this week. I'll hook you up. |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jan 28 2016, 09:40 AM) well, will be scenery, some portrait at events in future like Comic Fiesta and distant objects. Good that you have the idea of your photography style. i have the idea of purchasing prime lens in future, so a combination of 3 lens seems like the best for me. |
