Wife and I caught it at the Kakslauttanen arctic resort in Feb but I only had my iPhone with me so no credible pictures to show for it. -30C temp but definitely worth the hassle.

When you use Auto, monitor is always on unless you use the viewfinder. However if you do viewfinder only, viewfinder is only on when you look into in. So when nothing covers the viewfinder proximity sensor its off.

I shot with Sony FE28F20, Canon EF 50 F1.4 and Carl Zeiss Planar 85 F1.4. Only the FE28F20 was running with AF. Here's some result tongue.gif

Still don't have time to process the pictures I took in Taiwan, LOL.

Silly question, though, but what differs between processing the RAW and the JPG files? I was being cheapskate, some I did on my tablet via Snapsed.

Hi all, just returned from a trip to Spain with the α7R II + SEL55F18Z and SEL1635Z. The latter stayed on the camera 90% of the time. Thought I would share some pics with you all. Thanks!

Or rather, FE55 or SEL35 depending on FF or APSC.

domo_kun RAW contains more data VS JPEG, and you have more latitude to push or pull the highlights and shadows... amongst other things.

At the same time RAW files are also comparatively huge VS JPEG. Also, if you're shooting for Reuters or Time (and some other media outlets) it seems that they ONLY accept JPEGs straight from the camera due to fears of post-editing.

Hi Philip! If u got extra cash , go for it.

For me, Since A7ii has their new firmware update with phase detection and better focusing speed, i can utilize my current Canon 70-200mm F4 IS L on my A7II. The focus speed is not as fast as the native lens but i can live with it since i'm not shooting sports but more towards portraits and landscapes . Anyway, I bought it for RM1900 (Used). icon_rolleyes.gif

He asked for 50mm equivalent. So yeah, its 50mm and 33.33mm. He didn't ask for 50mm lens equivalent.

And yea, i was just kidding. No need so serious, lol.
