So one of the issue with Prepaid is that somehow your credits will slowly stack up if your usage is lower than the amount that you reload(RM30/31 depending on the calendar month). So apart from the conventional ways like subscribing for a data plan, super long life, and credit transfer, here's some other ways to use your credit for things that you may not know of drool.gif

Celcom has AirCash like @Cash to Hotlink. You can buy reload credit, send money to another AirCash user and purchase stuff on 11street.my

Disclaimer: this list is compiled from the various sources from the Internet, I've yet to try any of it(but I'll try the first one soon though  brows.gif )

1. Buy Google Play Store App
Supported by: DiGi
Source: http://new.digi.com.my/ecomm_C/services/default/google-play (Read "How to Get it")

2. Mol Point
Supported by: Maxis, Celcom, DiGi
Source: http://www.mol.com/Reload/Faq/215

3. @Cash (can be used for MapleStory, Cabal, Audition)
Supported by: Hotlink
Source: http://www.playpark.com/sg/page/guide_charging_AP_maxis

4. Windows Phone Store App
Supported by: DiGi
Source: https://amanz.my/201355954/

5. Blackberry Store App
Supported by: DiGi
Source: http://new.digi.com.my/ecomm_C/services/de...Carrier_Billing

6. Garena
Supported by: DiGi, Hotlink
Source: http://pay.garena.my/

7. Celcom Air Cash (can be used for 11street payment)
Supported by: Celcom
Source: https://aircash.celcom.com.my/aircash/Main.html
Credits: FourZeroFour

So how about that? know of any other ways of burning your credits? Share it here  laugh.gif
*
2. Credit can buy MOL point? I thought its the other way around, ie use MOL point to buy phone credit?

3. @cash i thought no longer can buy already? Atleast i know for Maxis already discontinued since 3-4 years ago.

7. Celcom Air Cash is not phone credit iinm. Its an electronic wallet just same like Maxis Pay. Method of adding cash is at Celcom center, not phone credit.

2. If you look at the link it does seem possible to buy molpoint using credit via easy2pay

I'll look up at the rest later

EDIT: It seems like you can do it vice versa(buy mol point using phone credit and buy phone credit using mol point)

3. Still available I guess, https://www.google.com/search?q=%40cash+hot...tlink&tbs=qdr:y most of the links are still from this year

I've had a chat with Celcom OCS just now(no way to transfer phone credit to AirCash account as well) and it seems like it is like what WaCKy-Angel has said, so that option has already been removed.

2. sounds workable, but it will incur some "commission" when u convert phone credit into MOL points (after getting MOL points can proceed to buy game cash / even other reload cards)

3. Is still not very correct. Purchase is done via "topup/reload card" not phone credit. ie. you still have to buy topup card for the purpose to buy @cash, not using credit already reloaded into phone.

2. Well yeah, the point is to find ways to use up the credits for something more useful. Can say almost if not all of the services listed above are more expensive than normal(pay for apps will kena extra 6% gst), mol point will get less per rm paid, and etc. But it is still better than keeping your credits unused at your phone though.

3. agreed, removed it.

True that but there is not much way to deplete your credit if the number is your parent's and they don't use any data but have accumulated a lot of credit over the past years where MVNO like tunetalk, friendi altel are not around sad.gif

Update for Celcom postpaid and Xpax prepaid users, you can purchase Lazada vouchers etc using your prepaid credits.

https://www.celcom.com.my/cs/extras/oleole/...d=1361276192696

I sent RM20 Lazada voucher using the Xpax app, and then I used the voucher to purchase the Hotlink topup for my other phone.

Maybe you can try 11. ShareShare (app to transfer talktime)?

For airtime sharing, they support inter and intra transfer between Celcom, U Mobile & Tune Talk.

I pay RM30 for validity but I don't subscribe to any data, so it accumulates.

I used to have hundreds in my phone 😆😆
I pay RM30 for validity but I don't subscribe to any data, so it accumulates.

you can try onexox, it has 28 months validity. Or else you can try friendi, every call/sms/topup/data extends the validity by 1 month

Thanks but I have to finish the credits first before I can change telco.
I am currently buying vouchers through myDigi 😉😉
The GSC voucher costing RM8.99 really helps.

Celcom offer both using direct billing on postpaid or prepaid (Xpax) with the offer of rebate. However you can always check other telco got offer or not la....Most important is the line stable or not biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Mobile Legends (Codashop): https://www.codashop.com/my/mobile-legends

Codashop's rate for steam wallet sucks when pay by hotlink. The rate is 50% less, for example Pay RM10 for Steam wallet code RM5.
For Hotlink users, head to hotlink website to buy steam wallet code. The rate is much more reasonable pay RM10 for Steam wallet code RM8

But this is to reload/top up? didn't top up or extend your number validity?

Codashop is let you use existing credit in your number already, so is to "burn" your prepaid credit.

if you're using italk prepaid, you can use the International Airtime Transfer

ole ole not so easy. despite celcom claiming on their community that there is no min spend, there is actually such requirement, at least when redeeming and using 11street voucher.

sent a rm30 11street voucher and thinking i could reload my other prepaid. but i am required to make purchase over rm31 before i could use the voucher!

anyone has experience with lazada vouchers from ole ole? is lazada any better?

i got some problem using celcom direct billing in google playstore.

i can add payment method direct billing. but when i try to pay, it failed. when i check google record, got 3 entry but all declined. then i tried using friend phone with digi. managed to do it. what i noticed is, when using celcom, it didn't save and register my phone number. but my fren phone show her digi number in google playstore.

my phone : xiami rn4x - aex rom - celcom
fren phone : xiaomi rn3 - miui - digi

anyone facing the same problem? is it caused by custom rom? or celcom got problem.

Helped my aunt mnp to yoodo from blood sucket hotlink. After I replied yes, pop her sim into my phone, did 2x IAP for my games, give her back 50%. Now she got enough credit for a year worth of phone calls.

You can blame google for compulsory 30% commission and PH for additional 6% tax

Lets take rm30 reload for example, this is the amount user will get and it consists of the balance 70% that google did not makan

70% equals rm30, which means the balance of 30% is rm12.86, the sum is rm42.86

Add another rm2+ for dev charge (let's put rm2) equals rm44.86, slap some 6% sst which brings to final amount of rm47.55 needed to be paid for rm30 reload

That calculation is eye-opener for me. I'm not blaming you, no one can absorb that steep 30% compulsory cut while still need to refund full "reload" value.

I can give you another processing option to consider. Let's use RM30 for example.
Instead of asking for RM30 +36% +RM2; give 2nd option for people to really spend RM30, then you minus out whatever the commission, and just refund the balance say RM17+.

Have you considered that DuitNow might have daily transaction limit if your app really picks up in usage?

I need to make it clear, I'm here just for clarification, this is not my app though. And reload value is fixed unless you go to those who offers direct reload, and this person only offers rm10 and rm30 denomination, so for rm10 he charges as stated in picture several comment above

I consider this as last resort, since celcom maxis and Umobile offers credit transfer, for digi some plans cannot use this function and webe I guess not available at all

I didn't rob you, Google did.

What about apple stores?
Is it the same charge 30%?

That is too high, some-more Google deals with USD, not RM. (If I'm not wrong..)

Adding for Digi, there's:

republic.gg
Source: https://community.digi.com.my/t5/Apps-Servi...c-GG/ta-p/53445

Unipin.com
Source: https://community.digi.com.my/t5/Apps-Servi...ipin/ta-p/53451

To add on codashop, beyond games, only VPN purchase are possible with Digi Direct Billing. It works through individual application billing. Whereas Republic.gg offers a wallet that can be reloaded using Digi Direct Billing, and then purchases are deducted from the wallet for the entire store.

I am planning to get one just for a sole purpose of small side hustle as contact mode...

but i dont want to spend alot on credits top ups.

is there a telco that even if i dont top up... i still can retain the number??

and how long before the telco will remove my ownership of the prepaid number?

If that is case can consider XOX, I pay for once and have validity for years, then I keep on using my main prepaid number for internet (Dual sim phone).

I'm using hotlink as my main prepaid number, but I found that prepaid2cash in Google Play able to cash out money.
I do it once per few months, had been used like half year ago, work fine to me.
It cost a lot and long waiting time, but yeah, better than none.

Now almost all prepaid has 1 year validity for RM30 or so.

Tunetalk, Xox, Hotlink, Digi and Celcom just to name a few.

1st Choice = P1 webe UniFi #BEBAS...

If after 1 month not happy with #BEBAS, MNP-o to XOX non-Black PRE-paid for 28 months validity (upon certain purchase of selected plans...)
