Thanks for the kind wish, he is much better now and that's why I plan to go back to office tomorrow. Been working from hospital for the past one week...

Alright, I guess UniFi will not be so cruel and immediately suspend my line on 7th? sweat.gif

Yes, finished already. laugh.gif
This thread also has Sam's Groceria post ma, on second post some more. laugh.gif
Yes, I really need to thick faced and go to the redemption counter. doh.gif sweat.gif

Dont worry. I paid mine on the due date itself last month using UOBPayonline and TMOnline, posting date T+1 and no suspension of service.

Pay TnG and get additional 5%? unsure.gif
Sorry, I'm very bad in playing with logic. laugh.gif
*
What he meant is that if you use TnG as payment card at certain places, you get rebates. i.e. reload TnG and get 5% rebate => use TnG to pay for purchases at Watson, effectively 5% rebate for Watson purchases.

means, paying TNB with TNG get 5%, then reload TNG get 5% again.so nice?
*
No. The rebate is one-time only i.e. when you reload your TnG. After that whatever transaction you swipe using TnG will be as charged.

Watson I understand la. We are talking about paying TnG with TNB. laugh.gif

I see. Let him explain then. He didnt make quote of TNB payment also, so I thought he's referring to payment using TnG card.

I think the threads are getting more messy. Talks about TNB payment in TnG reload. Talks about other credit cards in card-specific thread. Pengsan. rclxub.gif

that's why it wasnt a good idea to mix that in this topic biggrin.gif

on the other hand, there's no dedicated topic to discuss such either. perhaps someone else create a standalone topic for 3rd Party Bill Payments (ePay, uobpayonline, posonline, etc)  thumbup.gif

"with cash rebates" keywords in the title too. biggrin.gif

I concur with your suggestion. thumbup.gif

TNG is based on mifare classic, which actually does have encryption, but the encryption method has been broken since like 10 years ago. You can easily bruteforce the first encryption key by using tool like mfcuk and then mfoc to get the rest offline. With all the encryption keys on hand, you can then use mct(the android app used by the stupid couple) to manipulate your TNG card as much as you want.
*
Wonder how they manage to find out about the couple. If one's TnG card isn't registered online, probably no way to locate them unless via CCTV at the point of payment.

why not? the card keeps track of your transactin too. it's just a basic counter/app in the card. when it gets uploaded to TNG system, the transactions doesnt tally at all. if audited/investigated, sure find discrepancies.

obviously tng have been investigating for sometime before taking action geh.
*
Yes, discrepancies can be tracked easily via their system but if one does not register the card online, they will not be able to trace the card's owner. TnG card can be bought easily without having to disclose any information unlike telco simcard.

Hence CCTV.

I believe the system fairly easily exploited though. Not worth their while to upgrade security though, since so much existing system everywhere in toll/shop.
*
Yea, that's what I mentioned in my first post. Really easy to exploit. Old tech, easily get stolen. doh.gif
