10% = rm0.20 to RM 0.60 maybe? For your convenience.

Put it another way, you're in your car and I offer you 50 Sen to get out and line up to pay parking ticket for me. If you wouldn't do that for 50 Sen then you're prioritizing your own convenience over the 50 Sen. That's what cashless payment is for. Of course better not to have surcharge la....

It’s stupid to have surcharge placed on convenience as we are looking to move forward. They are doing it only because they are the only player in the market.

Exactly. Good move by some malls now to offer Paywave options in addition to T&G so that T&G is not able to monopolise. Example is Main Place mall.

If both also with surcharge, I go for Paywave since Paywave is via credit card while T&G is prepaid. I don't see why I should pay extra to T&G since my money is already parked into T&G.

Previously, the arguement is that the surcharge is imposed by the malls, but we now know it's not the case as T&G announced that they will remove the surcharge.

But there are malls that are progressively removing the surcharge, so it's a fair move. Hopefully, it's done soon.

Agree and tng always play the denial game. One way or another tng imposed some fees to the mall which was passed on to the customers

This is my first time trying to reload TnG using CC. Tried reloading at Shell NKVE Northbound this morning with M2C Amex. My card was declined.

I hope this is just a temporary system down issue and not because they cant accept Amex. Hmm
