TnG cannot be used to pay bills in Sam's right?
Or am I missing anything? hmm.gif
*
when I asked them in fb, they said can use TNG to pay bills.

perhaps staffs not trained to do that.

No worries BUT maximum reload only Rm100 each time and only credit RM99.47 (53 sen charged) , so if you are reloading a lot, better go to those who have max of RM500. BTW, is epay only available in Sam Groceria ? Have anyone checked Cold Storage / Mercato / Jaya Grocer etc. I will do so whenever I passed by these marts.

BTW, how long does it take to post the transaction after Epay swipe? Will only be able to go earliest Friday . (27th), very dangerous leh
*
ePay is available at a lot of places, but 2 questions to ask:

1) what bills does ePay allow for that particular merchant? e.g. Petronas or Sam's Groceria, etc etc
2) does the merchant accept credit card payment for ePay transactions? e.g. Tesco told me cannot buy mobile reload using credit card. instructions from ePay.

Find the nearest e-pay location here

QUOTE(michaelho @ Nov 25 2015, 01:17 AM)
yeah I have, what I meant was Epay for paying Utilities like TNB, TM, etc. , because from my understanding, some Epay doesnt have bills payment options , or am I wrong?
*
yes, from my experience, it depends on the merchant's selection of bill payment. e.g. offer Astro payment? TM bills? TNB? Touch 'n Go reload? etc etc

yes, you can can use tng to pay the bills at Sam's.

however, some staffs will blindly say "no". keep pressuring them or ask for their supervisor to help biggrin.gif

Managed to reload at Jaya Grocer @ Empire Subang using AMEX. No Visa Signature yet and Wise category is Petrol & Dining so AMEX 5x points is the next best thing biggrin.gif

Charge of 53 cents.
*
no other cards that gives Grocery rebate? e.g. UOB One 2%? MBB Ikhwan 5%? CIMB CR 2%? biggrin.gif

No wor, I don't usually shop at supermarkets so never thought about applying for CC that gives cashback for groceries. My mom is the one who does groceries shopping  lol tongue.gif

After reading this thread and that it's possible to get cash back by paying bills at supermarkets, will apply one and then sub to my mom  smile.gif
*
ur Wise's 10% Petrol & Dining ... if Grocery (pay bills, tng reload, your mom's grocery) > Dining, then you can swap with PBB VS 6% (Dining & Grocery)

depends on which category usage is more smile.gif But Grocery has more flexibility in usage, Dining is sometimes hit-or-miss.

do this once you gotten PBB VS biggrin.gif

He wanted it to be posted in Dec cycle. smile.gif That's why he purposely did his transactions on 30th as he knows they will be posted in Dec.
*
delayed posting (1-2 days) has 2 benefits, particularly in managing cashback n cashflow biggrin.gif

1) dont have to diedie wait 1st of the month for certain transactions. e.g. petrol bar blinking or tng nearly depleted. doing it on 30th/31st is good enough and upfront we know it will flow into next month's cashback calculations.

2) same as above, but to shift transactions into next bill cycle (further delaying the repayment without penalties). e.g. if bill date 8th of the month, performing transactions on the 8th itself will be captured in next bill (cuz posted on 9th or 10th, past the bill date on the 8th)

i thought the cycle is from 29th to 28th (posted date), no?

no

cashback is counted from all transactions posted within calendar month (1st until last day of the month)

add information

petron,tmn melawis,klang
each reload max rm500 charge rm3 with rm0.53.

jayagrocer, jaya33, pj
each reload max rm200 charge rm0.53
just to add more complete info
*
perhaps I could add the max amt per reload.

fyi, all reloads got service fee unless stated otherwise (e.g. Tesco). post 1 already stated such and I don't repeat this to all locations to reduce clutterness.

most petrol stations have surcharge for using credit card. this info is prohibited to be posted in post 1.

thanks for the update smile.gif

reload 2 TNG and paid TNB at Sam's Groceria @ Nu Sentral.

when paying tnb, they uses keypad to enter the value. mine was 70.00.

next time gonna try paying tnb near end of the month, with odd amount to purposely round my monthly Grocery category biggrin.gif

Sorry slightly out of topic:

I tried register my SAM card and key in the default pw which is Sam1*2*3

However it mention it is invalid.

Do I need to Create an Account first? The instruction mentioned don't need just go straight to Sign In.
*
when u signup, u filled up the little form.

the staff actually pre-create an account for you, using Sam1*2*3 as the default password. that's why the instructions doesnt need you to create account yourself smile.gif

wait for a few days and try login again.
