Hi all,

I remember seeing a TouchnGo card for frequent travellers, like min 4 times toll usage a day.
It wasn't the plusmiles I think cause it wasn't limited to PLUS highways only

Any insights?
Thanks!

better reload your TNG before the holiday...

PSA: FESTIVE SEASON: RELOAD LANES AT PLUS TOLL PLAZAS WILL BE CLOSED TO FACILITATE SMOOTHER TRAFFIC FLOW
June 13, 2017

To facilitate smoother traffic flow during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive season, all toll plaza Reload Lanes on PLUS-operated highways will be closed. The move is aimed at reducing and preventing traffic congestion due to long queue at reload lanes at the toll plazas.

All 134 Reload Lanes at PLUS Highways toll plazas will be closed to the public beginning 22 June to 2 July.

As such, PLUS reminds the public to ensure that their PLUSMiles or Touch 'n Go cards have sufficient balance at all times during this festive season.

PLUS also urges the public to reload their electronic cards at 9,200 other reload lane locations across the country. This includes at ATM machines, 24-hour convenient stores and petrol stations, to name a few.

The public can also reload their cards at petrol stations operating at the rest and service areas (RSA) along the highway.

Additionally, reload service is also available at PLUS customer service centres at selected toll plazas operating between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm daily (including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday).

PLUS anticipates traffic on the mainline will increase by 21 percent this festive season as compared to normal days.

Hi,

If reload at TNG Hub Nu Sentral using Maybank AMEX during weekend entitle for 5X TP or not?
Thanks
*
again for for the n-th time answering this, Amex weekend cashback & TP applicable to everything that you pay using amex card (with cap of RM50 per calendar month and subject to some exclusion from certain categories which got 0TP/1TP). tng hub isnt anything from the exclusion list, so it'd be 5X TP. read the TreatsPoints T&Cs at post #1 from MBB thread.

if you ever spend time searching here (do you even know there's a [SEARCH] function?), TNG Hub @ Nu Sentral accepts AMEX from the Self-Service Kiosk.

They have stopped accepting CC for touch'n'go reload.  sad.gif

great, thanks for 2nd confirmation.

post 1 will remove those 2 locations.

FYI, 1st report by users will not warranty the removal from the list immediately. I'll remark it temporary until 2nd report comes in. you'll never know sometimes due to inexperience staffs or temporary downtime smile.gif

You're welcome.

Yes, I agree with your action.
I had the same thought too, maybe the staff that time was inexperienced or new.
Which is why I drove to both of the stations to confirm.

So if I go to JG Gardens, then I just look for a sign at the counter that says "Reload here", go there and queue, then says wanna topup touch n go with CC, is that it?
Minimum is RM100 per topup right?
*
aiyor, just go there and ask lo. not hard to find out biggrin.gif good thing about JG is they put a reload tng signage. even if you dont ask first, the moment your queue reaches the counter, you still need to tell them to reload tng, right?

min reload rm50 at JG

Thanks for all the input but guided by the 1st page, i am able to plan within a month whenever i passed by i top up via Petronas.. have yet to try how the car performance if use Petronas Fuel.

I foresee in coming months cards will revised their card benefit again
*
that's how i do it as well. go there every 2 months or so, top-up RM200-300 across 2 tng cards: 1 tng for toll, another 1 tng for retail purchase (e.g. pay at Watsons, Juice Works, etc).

for petrol, works fine la, not that i'm super experience and technical to "feel" the performance difference between petrol brands.

this is why the mbb ikhwan petronas visa may not work for everyone, since each has their own petrol preference smile.gif Oh how i wish got 8% for petron laugh.gif

fruitie is right, rm0.53 service charge. Max per reload is rm100, if you want more than need to do multiple reload of rm100, i believe is standard across all Giant

as long as the kiosk accept amex, u get cb if swipe on weekends.

real question would be: does it accept amex at all?

actually your other part of the question piqued my interest: MRT station has TNG reload machine accept credit card laugh.gif thumbup.gif

3 items to find out:

1) does it accept Amex? brows.gif
2) what is the MCC for the kiosk laugh.gif
3) does all the kiosks at all mrt station uses the same kiosk vendor? could be same or could be distributed across 2-3 vendors. depends on the project scoping and how the contract was awarded.

hope that the kiosk vendor implemented the tng reload properly, else it'd kill/brick the TNG card for using it (*ahem*dbkl's new parking meter*ahem*)

apparently no one tried. JG MesaMall is quite new, 2 mths old now.

why dont you try asking if they have tng reload service and accepts cc to reload?

obviously sweat.gif

probably not all reload kiosks accept cc, yet. yesterday saw 1 video showing tng reload kiosk, but cash only. didnt notice any cc/pinpad on the kiosk (empty hole at the centre, perhaps).

i might go jalan-jalan with MRT this weekend. will also survey around.

Hi all,

trying to understand the following feedback from 1st page.

Quote:
"Petronas @ Sungai Besi-Puchong Bypass (beside Kinrara Furniture Street) · NO reload service charge · Note: Reload at Petronas counter, not the TnG Spot booth (cash-only). No cashback for HSBC Amanah MPower Visa · MBB Ikhwan Petronas Visa: 20170513"

It mentions that no cashback for these 2 cards at this Petronas station for TnG reload?
Other cards like MBB Ikhwan Master and AMEX will still have cashback?
if not mistaken, previously the counter charges rm1 for every rm100 reload and this is paid in cash. Is this still applicable?
*
only HSBC Amanah MPower Visa reported no cashback from this petronas (not sure if it's applicable to others). amex and other cards still accepted.

MBB Ikhwan Petronas Visa: 20170513 ----- the way it was written as such: this card was last reported/reloaded at this location on 13 May 2013.

the date is based on report or actual reload date here by other users. It's just an indication of "freshness" of this location last reported.

the 1% surcharge still applies (i'm not stating it publicly due to specific reasons), but the surcharge is charged to the card itself. e.g. reload RM300 to TNG, RM303 charged to the credit card.

Tried many petrol stations at batu unjur 9 at klang...bp,shell,petron, all receive cash for tng reload only..anyone knows any place in klang area can reload TnG using amex during weekend?
*
read post 1 for tested locations.

nearest could be the following:

Jaya Grocer @ Plaza Jelutong, Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
Giant @ Setia Alam, Klang ---- use Giant vouchers
Shell @ Seksyen 7, Shah Alam (near University Selangor). Last reported 15 Feb 2016 may not be accepting CC. can try again.
Petron @ Taman Melawis, Klang. Last reported 17 Jun 2017 may not be accepting CC. also can try again.
