Could be low brake fluid warning (handbrake symbol turned ON when driving). Send to SC to check. Else could be ABS faulty/sensor.New Honda City v06, First Batch, MUST check CVT Recall !

QUOTE(kaparstall @ Mar 29 2016, 07:34 AM) Hmm... ya, ard 1/2 inch above the max line.. The engine oil will be above the max line when the engine is hot. What you need to do is, park the car overnight and check the engine oil level in the morning and it should be below max. It is OK then. Do not check when the engine is hot. Or after driving.Base on the explanation tht u posted, shall i use tools to suck it out? No wonder when they return bek the balance engine oil to me and i feel so light...rupa2 they overfilled.. wtf... Nx service i wan learn frm u, tell them in advance first liao... |

My recent 50k service was also quoted to be at RM 700+. All this while, I accepted SA's recommendation to add in engine oil treatment and some other stuff. This time, I told them to follow exactly as recommended on the website. The bill went down to RM200+ (as stated on Honda's website, but a little higher as I opted for fully synthetic).
So far, I don't feel any improvement by adding engine oil treatment. Maybe got some long term benefit, I don't know. |

If water has entered engine, the engine oil color will become muddy. U can drain a bit engine oil and check the color. If it is dark but clear, then normal. But if muddy, then water has entered. Need to change.

QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ May 11 2016, 09:04 PM) Alright . thanks for the tips.it's 4th day since the incident . Gotta Jack up the car, and drain from underneath the engine. Or go to SC and ask them to do it. I only checked thru engine oil dip , didn't drain it . how to drain it ? Unplug the oil filter ? I'm not sure if can detect from dipstick, unless very muddy |

My Honda battery just died today. After 1 year 10 months. I'm on the battery replacement list, but havent got the letter and thus had to change the battery on my own. Will I still be eligible for battery replacement?

PETALING JAYA: A seemingly minor collision between a Honda City and a Mercedes-Benz along Jalan Teknologi 3/1, Kota Damansara here, resulted in the death of one of the drivers.
The 44-year-old driver of the Honda, who was with her two sons and niece, died at the scene of the accident that occurred on Sunday noon. Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the Honda did not stop before turning into a junction and rammed into the back of a Mercedes-Benz. One of the first responders at the scene said the driver and passenger airbags were deployed following the collision. Sungai Buloh Fire and Rescue Department Senior Officer II Rosdi Hainan said that the driver’s airbag was found ruptured and that she could have sustained injuries to her chest from material protruding from the centre of the steering wheel. “There was blood in the car when we inspected it. Medical personnel from Hospital Sungai Buloh said she was barely alive when help arrived. She died at the scene. Her three passengers were not hurt,” he said. Rosdi said that the Mercedes driver and his wife escaped uninjured. A team of firefighters from the Sungai Buloh station led by Rosdi arrived at the scene at about 12.10pm after receiving a distress call. ACP Zani said that the cause of death has yet to be determined pending post-mortem results. There was only minor damage to the Honda. http://m.thestar.com.my/story.aspx?hl=Woma...A-EB03A5D528D4} |
