QUOTE(lil_flank @ Jun 22 2016, 08:48 AM) I asked the customer service officer whether can i changed my e spec rim to v spec rims. He told me it will void the warranty if u want to claim anything that is related to the rims. They can even blame the rims for abs failure even though it is original honda rims. He say Honda has been pretty strict recently. that is not called strict, strict is diagnose the problem entirely, find the actual root cause, present the diagnostic report to prove that the custom changes cause the problem, before throwing out warranty void threaten words..in that case, they can simply say car washing will void the warranty since water does damage the parts they just find excuses to avoid responsibility for the so called 5 years warranty.. |

QUOTE(jhlou @ Jun 27 2016, 02:47 PM) Windscreen coverage can be inclusive of tinting. sadly the quote is without tintIf you have tinted your windscreen with reputable brands, then RM1.5k seems reasonable. QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ Jun 27 2016, 02:53 PM) exactly, how to claim windscreen and tinted separately since its installed by different shop? |

QUOTE(lil_flank @ Jun 27 2016, 03:36 PM) Honda Malaysia do not want to disclose it as it will affects their sales so no one knows. I think Honda admit the defected Takata airbags and do recall, while some other automaker did not want to admit and provide what brand of airbas they use, and still continue sellingSome car makers in the US still selling new cars with defective takata airbags http://www.therakyatpost.com/world/2016/06...takata-airbags/ QUOTE Toyota Motor Corp, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, Volkswagen AG and Mitsubishi Motors Corp are still selling new vehicles with defective airbags that will eventually need to be recalled, according to a report by a US lawmaker overseeing the agency handling the largest-ever auto safety recall. Automakers confirmed they are continuing to sell some vehicles with ammonium-nitrate inflators without a chemical drying agent, and cited engineering and supply challenges to explain why they are still relying on the faulty airbags. The vehicles are legal to sell but must be recalled by 2018. Toyota, one of two automakers that did not provide specific models to Senate investigators, expects to produce approximately 175,000 vehicles with the defective Takata inflators by July 2017, the report said. http://www.therakyatpost.com/world/2016/06...takata-airbags/ |

QUOTE(ahhann @ Jun 28 2016, 02:19 PM) Thanks man ~ now finger crossing waiting 3rd party police report, he promised to call me and let me know tonight ... else might opt for 3rd party workmanshop for hassle free settlement. since u said its free, the pulis friend workshop option is still claiming 3rd party NCD ma, or else u have to pay..I know they definitely smell fishy ... even the police officer ask me go for the workshop option instead of claim third party NCD as no major vehicle component was damaged. my advice is dont go for unknown workshop, god knows if they change ur other functioning parts without ur notice.. and it could lead to warranty void.. |
