Just make a booking late last week for E spec with total discount of ~ RM5.6k. Agent help to submit loan application (RM70k) to 3 banks - PBB, Affin and MBB. Just got a call from Affin bank this morning asking for details, and the bank officer stating interest rate should be around 2.6%. Will wait and see.

I only got 4.7k disc from my SA. No other free gift. Usually how much commission do they get for each car. I tot only rm1k. So when he give me commision of rm700. I tot that's ok already
I was told that sales agent commission is ~ 0.9% of the car price (higher for S spec if not mistaken) - so the RM700 commission you mentioned is about right. On top of that there are other commission for the branch or manager that they can pass on to the customer as well.

I'm getting 2.69% for 54k loan (7 yr) from hong leong bank.

PBB just approved my loan for RM70k (7 yrs) for 2.71% - submitted before the interest hike (which I was told from Nov 9 onwards), while Affin Bank officer is indicating ~ 2.6% for same year & amount - submitted end of last week.

in Jb it's getting hard and i also just manage to get my E spec.. No more color to choose. Need wait 1 to 2 months.

I believe it is very hard to get either City or Jazz right now - a lot of dealers/distributors already sold out till end of year, before the new price kick in.

Alternately - leave your contacts with a few SA, and notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif everyday that someone failed to secure his/her loan so that you can "snatch" his/her allocated car! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

May i  know what is the current rebates for Honda City 1.5V? Thanks smile.gif

I think the more important thing is whether you can find a sale agent / branch / dealer that can "promise" you to get the car this year - before the new (& increased) price is announced!

Mbb offer 2.58 for 60k loan 9 year..
But is special package 1st to 4th year pay extra then 5th to 9 year lesser..but total pay amount same as normal 2.58%
*
Not a good package from MBB. MBB approved my hire purchase application of RM70k @ 7 years with "2.50%" p.a. interest rate, with higher installment for 1st 4 years and lower installment for last 3 years - monthly installment amount for first 4 years is > 2X of last 3 years.

I did an comparison between this package vs flat installment amount @ 2.7%, although the total amount for MBB is ~ RM1k+ lower than flat amount for 7 years, but you are losing out on potential interest earn/save (in my case: > RM2k) if you put the additional amount paid month into your flexi loan account. With MBB's package, you are actually "paying more" for most part of the loan duration (in my case - > 6.5 years).

If the order is reversed - i.e. lower installment first, higher installment later and still at the same rate, then it's a different story. I'll be the first one to take-up this package. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

yeah, rewiring and void the warranty, sounds like a better idea, lol

seriously, just unplug the bulb and tape over the connector, what's so difficult?

or just "blow"the bulb intentionally but keep the bulb in place! No need to tape the connector! tongue.gif
