EPS electrical power steering normally should tighten up during high speed cornering to provide better control

Somehow honda's eps doesn't do so

I used to drive saga aeroback which also have power steering, before i got my city, when I drove my bro myvi 2015, i felt the steering very light, but now, i feel that myvi steering is so heavy.. so, you will used to the steering soon, haha

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Nov 20 2015, 03:42 PM)
this is no possible at all... if the steering is so heavy , it will affect driving experience....
*
they can reduce the eps assistance with speed.
Make it feels heavier than a myvi at least? 😐

sure, and leave the connector exposed, sounds like a good idea, lol

yeah, rewiring and void the warranty, sounds like a better idea, lol

seriously, just unplug the bulb and tape over the connector, what's so difficult?

anyone getting a sport rim for their spare tyre since the spare tyre size is much smaller?
*
Wanted to.
But decided not to, because the spare tire compartment looks too shallow to fit in full size rim/tire.

Got my car since beginning of December... Still trying to get used to it especially the CVT engine.. Coming from a segment A car where FC is good now I had to rely heavily on EcoMode but when naik slope, the engine sound is loud but car hard to go up.. Have to disable and enable the EcoMode .... Last time I just need to pump petrol every 9-10 days. Now every 6-7 days... Aduh...
*
Not sure what segment A car you were driving.

From my own experience, this car's FC is lower than my old myvi.😛

Too wide, will burn more petrol only.
Waste money.

Since you mileage claim also part of income, the more petrol you use the less profit from mileage claim... lol

Btw did you follow 3% rules when changing tyres ??
*
Not true,
these tires will be a huge upgrade over the stock tires in terms of handling, braking distance, wet performance, noise, and safety. And also comfort, albeit only slightly enhanced.

Yes, with wider tires, you lose abit of power during acceleration and at low speed situation, but this Honda city's FC is pretty low to begin with.
So I personally feel it was worth the investment.

Just curious.
Any reason to switch from msig?

Perodua car uses rubber cap like the Honda City too?

Went to buy a replacement for now, RM8.10
*
Try apply super glue on the rubber cap to prevent stealing.
It works

But superglue will have to those white stains when dried wor...
*
No ah, I applied very thin layer and very carefully on the mating surface.
But it's very secured, cannot remove the cap.

Only downside is, if I ever need to access the nut, have to cut the rubber cap open. Haha.
Unless need to replace the wiper arm, which don't think will happen anytime soon or maybe forever.

Just sharing my LEDs on my GM6 - part 2

exLED Crystal T10 Bulbs red color with Philips X-treme Vision Red Rouge 1157
[attachmentid=6058718]

For V Spec, the console light using T5 led with aluminium tape for better light reflection = more bright

Hi guys,
My car now has near 3 months and 4k milleage.
I got this problem recently.
This usually happend in traffic jam when travel at low speed.
When I accelerate in between 10-20km/h, then release the accelerator, I notice that my car rpm will have a spike, then my car will feel a bit "chok".
Anyone here got this problem too??
Normally if car issue u guys just wait for next service report to sc or report and get fix immediately?
*
Have the same issue. I thought it is normal with CVT.

In manual is stated, due to CVT operating at high rpm, you will feel difficult to brake the car (sluggish?)

Better report lo..claim from the taxi's insurance. If you send to Honda, be prepared to pay at least 2k if your body panel already kemek. And if boot lid got dents as well be prepared to pay 4k. Serious. Because I also same case as u. If bumper damage only then the cost wont be so much..probably 1k plus. Labour charges at Honda is high.
*
It is mega hard to claim from public transport.
The inspector will just ask you to claim your own insurance, almost always.

u should have make a police report right after the incident . now its too late .u can still report police ... no harm trying

Claiming from insurance of public transport will almost never work out. Learnt it from my own experience.

Only if your policy is "Agreed Value". If you policy is "Market value", then the compensation will follow the vehicle's market value at the time of the claim.

Call your insurer to inquire if they offer Agreed Value policy for your make and model.
*
HIP is based on agreed value.
In the event of car loss, HIP will pay you back fully of the sum insured, for the first 5 years.

That's the selling point of HIP.

like taeng said, just go to honda sc and claim the insurance of the other party.
ori bumper+repaint+clip bracket costs a lot of money.

Drum brake is good if less people seat inside the vehicle. If full of passengers and luggage, it is indeed not safe to drive on the road.
*
Drama queen much? Haha
City is a very light car even with full load on.
You most probably feel losing all the acceleration power before you feel losing braking power. Lolz

no worries, he's driving downhill at 180km/h with full passengers and luggage,
confirm lorry with drum brakes cannot get anywhere near him. rclxm9.gif
