anyone went for the recall of CVT gearbox fixing already? What is the actual action taken by Honda? I've yet to get call from Honda even though my car is on the list to be fix.

Dear all, unfortunately, my City had been ram from behind by a Lancer.
The impact was minor, but the damage is there. The car boot shape out of space. Very difficult to open and close then. Also many dent on the boot that require knock out. The pin on bothside of the bumper break hence very obvious gap is seen.

Lancer is a police officer. He said he is rushing for duty and will do his version of police report tonight. I did mine, and took a original report to Honda Repair centre. But Honda turned me down, as Honda required the Lancer side Original Police Report (to proof Lancer is guilty) + police picture on my car damage (I need to went back to police station to buy the picture again). Only when the above two document is inplace, then Honda will take in my car, repair it, and then charge the cost to Lancer NCB.

Question: Was the above scenario correct? My last claim of wrong doing vehicle NCD (my previous drive was repair by Perodua) only require my version of Police Report.

* Now i'm worry that the Lancer FFK me and went Hari Raya Puasa leave next week. Without his side of police report, i'm seating duck, waiting my car to be repair. I do have his car plate picture and contact number. He did pick up my call when i ask about the status of his police report.

8sg9ft, thanks for the response, can we share with me the step by step took by yourself previously?

Honda told me that:
As long as i can provide the following document, they can even start repair my vehicle within this week:
(a) Policy of insurance of my car.
(b) my Car Registration Card/Grant (was this hold by bank or myself? I don't remember i owning this paper)
© my Driving license & ic
(d) Wrong doing personnel aka third party insurer police report (original)
(e) Police Photo of Damage of my car

But i'm puzzled as:

1 - i still need to wait 14 days for the "Keputusan Siasatan" by the police, then purchase the (1) Keputusan Kes together with the (2) Police Photo of Damage on 22 July 2016. The photo is only purchasable after the result of investigation completed.

* Does this mean that i need to drive my car with kemek boot for another 2 weeks zzzzzzz. The boot gap is so wide, i worry rain might get into it.

No wo not my fault also last time. But i'm on of the 4 victim who kena ram from behind in 5 car accident la haha
Just now the police who who took the damage report also called his workshop friend and say they can settle for me, all free and all hassle free. Just gib them the police report slip, u seat home, they fix your car at their garage, next week can take car. But i'm a bit restricted to trust them so helpful and turned them down ... i do still keep the workshop name card though

Thanks man ~ now finger crossing waiting 3rd party police report, he promised to call me and let me know tonight ... else might opt for 3rd party workmanshop for hassle free settlement.
I know they definitely smell fishy ... even the police officer ask me go for the workshop option instead of claim third party NCD as no major vehicle component was damaged.

That's why now i anxiously waiting he call me and give me his side Polis Report.

Recon me a runner la hehe ...

Just called H.S Lee traffic police today, said investigation report not ready la, cannot buy the photo because not in database yet la blah blah blah ... have to wait until 22 July only can get all document ....
