In short, my rattling sound disappeared after pressing roof areas near dome light and bang few times on dashboard on left seat...LOL

brothers & sisters, i got my car 2 weeks ago..found not good condition i got of my new City V Spec Modern Steel Metallic. Anyone face same issue with me?

1) every time when start engine, within 5 mins will have a sound "tack" 1 time, from engine part. I have check with SC, he said is normal, is activation of ABS Modulator. I wondering, every time activation sound so loud, till can feel a bit shaking at pedal there. I don't know your all City latest model, also have the same sound?

2) during air-cond fan going to stop, there's "kork" sound come out then following by the fan will stop. Every time heard this sound, is loud until sitting inside also can hear it. According to SC, the sound is from air-cond compressor & it's normal. It's true? you also also have this kind of sound & very loud till you all can hear when sitting inside?

3) rattling sound under my dashboard, inside of my odometer. It's so annoying, the sound come out once running on rough road or more worst condition road.
Today send in to SC for 3 days, open dashboard for checking & repair. It's my first time to open up dashboard for repair 

4) Bad Soundproof. I was trade in my 10 years old city, feeling the old city have better soundproof compare with City V06. It's like i am driving my Myvi on the road !!

sorry i can't provide the picture as I've taken down the camera due to it snapping off from my carelessness when adjusting the camera ( the build is abit fragile unfortunately ). i got it for around RM 450+ with installation iirc. currently i am using some cheap china made camera, and though the image wasn't as clear as the Sony one but at least the angle adjustment is secured via a screw.

in regard to the electrical warranty, i believe the center has the right to void your warranty for any electrical modification that are not done by them.. but if you want a slight piece of mind, you can order the official reverse camera for Honda City for about RM 1k from Hingan, which i believe it has all the harness since it's an official Honda product.

HyperGuard tint, the worst tint that I ever had. Both film and workmanship are bad, a lots of uneven glue texture can be observed on wind screen quite bad visibility especially at night. It cost me RM1K some more. I did went back for re-tint on Monday but until today I'm still seeing those uneven effect on my windscreen    damn I may have to go back again for re-tint but this time have to request to change the type of tint already. The shop located at Rangoon road Penang. Not recommend this tint shop.

Truthfully, the City is not the most comfortable b-segment car. Vios is better at comfort than city...(probably the only thing the VIOS can win over the City). City suspension is known to be a bit harder. Anyway, congrats.

Steering lock is a total waste of money. It doesn't do shits. Even if your steering lock made from diamond, thieves can simply saw through the steering in like 5 seconds, without need to bother the lock. Saw it on youtube. Jaw totally dropped.

Get a pedal lock. then stick all sorts of weird sticker on the windows like "Cobra Alarm"...sked off potential thieves....play bluff....

Anyone can suggest what to add on with the car for additional security. Wanted to get a pedal lock, but heard that there are cases ppl can drive without unlocking it hence cant brake.. (just in case forgot)
