i would like to get you guys, whom ever send their car for service regardless Merz or external, can ask one thing for me?

Is it true, merz battery voltage  flactuate during charging?

i happened to noticed this after i have battery issues with my GLA, send to HS, stays there for 3 days just to get the battery replaced under warranty ( battry cost 2k) when i asked them why takes solong just to replace battery, they said battery voltage fluctuate, so i thought this must be serious. anyway, they release the car after 3 days.

then i happened to observed mercedes me apps (i have adapter installed for free), the battery voltage fluactuate between 12.5 to 14.8v within one minutes. when i asked them they said its normal as alot of electronice using battery at the same time.

i actually not satisfied with the explanation because what happened if you happed to use eletronice in the car but the engine not running, you sure cant start your car after that.

anyway, i aso check with my c300coupe, it alse show similar characeristic, but less volatile as compare to my GLA.

so can ask for me, it it true?

while engine running, the app will only shows the battery voltage when engine running

hmm if you ask me, I prefer servicing my car at c&c pj compared to hss puchong. The service is simply put more "humane". My sa at c&c would actually walk me to my car and check the car exterior with me instead of just handing over your keys and off you go.

Any W205 owner change their run-flat tyre to normal tyre?

read from Facebook news 1 of the C350e owner change 5 tyres in a year due to car run through potholes, bump and so on...tyre reviewer also keep commenting the run-flat tyres easily broken or explode and sometimes can even damaged the rim. So, should just trade in the run-flat tyres to normal when it still new?

Tbh at first I thought it was a total rip off, until ofc few months back I had to change one of my electronic parts. Without warranty, it would have cost me 16k

yours is GLC or Sedan? i forgotten liao.  I claimed my battery on the last week of my warranty end. lol!  But my car old liao....6yrs soon.

no warning one ler for weak battery! it will just die on you! Even your ignition coil is weak also no warning light ler! Only the check engine light will on once one of the four coils gone kaput!

Thats why after my warranty ended, i make  sure my car insurance policy cover me 'unlimited towing" ! I had the experience of my car towed back from Sg to my due to 'Speed  sensor' faulty! The car wont move! lol!
