c250 is out of my budget, but if getting c250 why not consider c300e

Another 400km later, I managed to improve my C350e FC from 4.8l/100km to 4.0l/100km, another 8% improvement. As expected, my monthly electric bill on 1 charge a day has increased around RM50+, 1 full tank of RON97 cost me RM104 (i only pumped once since I took my car after 1400km, as you can see in the pic, I still have at least half tank more to go before I take the next pump, maybe by month end haha). So total energy consumption is RM154+ for one month usage. Still, it is slightly higher than my previous 320D which cost me only RM130 a month.

booked my c250 9speed around march. was supposed to get the car before June, then SA said will deliver the car by 3rd week of June, now SA said not even sure if can get the car, if really want the car, he can deliver the car next year.

really disappointed with MB.

even when they downgraded some parts still sell like hotcake.

Have you really joined the club and read through instead? If not, there's one here Toyota Prius Malaysia in Car Clubs, see how many happy Prius owner there. Don't simply make such irrational assumption - "MOST", where's your statistic to label it as "MOST"? By the way, @iHealth C350e has keyless entry, who told you don't have? I am driving one for 2 months + now, need to stress about it, I've only pumped petro once thus far, yes no kidding. But bear in mind, the FC really depends on the user e.g. how you drive, your everyday route etc.

Yes you are right, and there's no AMG logo too.

When I bought it that time, the SA told me only two variants, there was no AMG int+ext. I don't think the AMG fits well on a hybrid anyway

I'm just an average joe driver, I hardly feel there's extra weight on my car, it goes effortlessly as any car without a big fat battery haha. I read some car reviews that they do feel the weight, I am still trying to figure that out. You should

Why you think they are rare? They are everywhere. Yes, I hate the eco mode too, I only use it when I really into slow drive or I wanna challenge myself for better FC record. Here's what I think about the car

1) In Hybrid, it is adequate to deliver as a C200, but you do feel sluggish if compared to C250, after all, it's hybrid, it serves its own purpose. I don't think C200 is near to it, especially if I turn off the hybrid. C350e is the energy saving version to C250.

2) To match the performance of a C250, hybrid mode got to be off, but still, a bit lag. Maybe the weight does come into a factor in this scenario?

I don't think it is suitable to someone who always emphasis on performance, that's why, it is a plug in hybrid which caters to its own niche crowd. Otherwise, I would also get C250, is cheaper too. I drove C250 before, the older gen, it was a company car. I switched from 320D, so I've done my consideration enough to buy it. The major reason I get it is because I wanna try a hybrid car as I've never own one before. 

This kind of car is either you hate it or you like it, Malaysian in general still not willing to give it a try coz is not convincing and afraid of many things like resell value and the battery. I'm on this trial and will see what happened in 3 years time. So far, I like it and I'm happy about it. Hope no major issue down the road, will give you all update here. Btw, the car Is so serene in electric mode, felt so luxurious. But once the combustion engine kicks in, I hate the noise.

due to the delay in delivery of c250 (which i'm told by SA could even be v late this year or even next year!), i'm currently contemplating the purchase of a c350e instead.

would like to ask the sifus here, will there be any complication if we rarely (or never) use the plug-in charging? since theoretically one may charge the battery by using the car's charge mode. grateful if experienced users may help to shed light on this.

Looks like MBM 's strategy works big time! To delay the production of c250 so that you all buay tahan  and get the electric car instead! Seriously, tested the electric unit! The drive is not as firm as the 250! But if yu are not into sporty drive, the 350e is your cup of tea! But despite of which models, some say you will still stuck in the heavy traffic jam everyday!

Booked a c350e AMG Line from HSS. SA said can get car by end of month/early August. Anybody can verify this with CnC? Is this accurate info?

White. Are you talking about full AMG Line interior and exterior readystock?

I booked c350e amgline in may. However i was thinking to change to c250 but it seems no diff in terms of waiting period. Moreover i am asking for red interior which is another havoc waiting. So just be patient atm. Ntg we can do. Will keep u guys updates if i got any good news from SA. Cheers
