I use Chrome+Firefox on the same time.

Firefox is safer. Simply just a browser. But it is slower than Chrome tho.

Chrome is part of Google ecosystem. Use it all the time for you tubing, surfing, gmail and all. I think chrome(google) scan all your browsing infos and details for ads ?

It was a bit slower but things change from time to time. Depends who made review and the method used for testing. See this review for latest one.

I choose firefox because it shows the text of image if image is disabled. chrome and opera can't do that.

for now i think chrome, firefox and MS Edge are quite good

but they do have downsides:
chrome: it had grown so bloated now, sometimes it takes forever to load a new tab or open settings
Firefox: rendering feels slower than chrome
MS Edge: no extensions/plugins or themes (for now)

If u are feeling adventuruous, try Vivaldi, it combines chrome's engine and Firefox/MS edge-like UI. Very feature rich as well. Im trying it now

Browser options from a web programmers perspective.
When coding for the web it is necessary to add extra code to ensure that all the features are cross-browser compatible. Whilst most of the major browsers are in constant development the level of support of certain features is different
For the end user this simply means that the likelyhood of experiencing a website as the programmer intended you to experience it is much higher in browsers who are ahead when it comes to browser features support. Without further delay my browser recommendations are as follows:
1. Chrome
2. Firefox
3. Safari
4. IE
I could go into the ease of browser customisation, extensions, plugins and security but the list would pretty much remain the same.

It would be hard to pick just one as different browsers come with different features that make them suitable. But generally, Chrome has very fast loading times and firefox has solid security features and standards. This two are quite popular than the rest like Opera, Safari and UC browser.

Browsers people use often matters to preferences.
I've been using chrome for at least 3 years and I'm very very used to it.
It syncs all of my settings, including saved passwords for easier login and even browser theme to my google account, makes life easier for me.
There's still some cons, such as the lack of NPAPI support, higher RAM usage and more processes.
I don't use Firefox since I'm not familiar with the settings and the layout, my friend use it however since he said Chrome uses too much of his RAM.
Honest opinion is that if you have big RAM and fast CPU it doesn't really affect anything...
I used Opera back in my 512mb RAM desktop days since it's lightweight, loading time however is noticeably slower.
Ehh... doesn't really matter even if you have even the best browser in the world, it's still slow if your internet is crap XD

Get a hand on latest Opera browser lately (2 or 3 weeks). Have not switch back Chrome since then.

Loading web pages is blazing fast with build in adblock & VPN.

Your question is actually a really important one! Well, over the weekend i stumbled upon a blog post that gave a summary of the best browsers. This summarised article has some pretty good tips https://www.1and1.co.uk/digitalguide/hostin...indows-and-mac/

Trust me, an up to date brand new Firefox Quantum is the best...silky smooth...i left since version 4X and switched to Chrome because of the lag and micro stutter issue in firefox. I give latest ver57 a try today, immediately fall in love with it.
