And i thought consoles were supposed to sit underneath tv sets... seems that everyone is starting to use computer monitors nowadays...
Doesn't it kinda feel strange sitting at a desk and playing video games (like in Djinn's place)? Not quite right somehow? |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Dec 1 2006, 02:33 PM) Madmoz, traditionally you do that on a living room couch with consoles in your cabinet. But necessity dictates that to get the most out of these consoles, you need to pair them with some sort of HD ready displays, and after spending so much for the consoles, there arent enough dough for the screens. PC monitors are the most affordable solution then, which then dictates playing them as how you do playing PC games on PC. I starved for a month, then went out to get the cheapest tv that supports 720p and now we get 1080p For those looking, the BenQ FP241W is the only option to go 1080p on a 24 incher. RM3299 i asked, and should already be here by now. Don't fancy the idea of staring at a monitor cause I do 8.5 hours of that at work!!! |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Dec 1 2006, 02:56 PM) But it is a very acceptable and affordable tradeoff for those who had to budget, Madmoz. And not to mention portable as well for LAN parties. If you arrange and set it up nicely, it is more than capable showing off your console in action. Point taken... btw cnnecting to computer monitors = no sound right? So what speakers to use? I need something 5.1, we need an additional dolby receiver for this no?Start slow2 lah bos, we have to start from somewhere. When things are going a little better financially, then the option for larger screens would open up. |

QUOTE(Kernkraft400 @ Dec 14 2006, 11:03 PM) Hey madmoz, Alamak! You are one blur 15 year old... where in my earlier post did I mention you asking that??? Please read again lor... properly Yeah iam coming to KL around 27 Dec to 2nd of Jan 07. I live around the heart of Kota Kinabalu City my friend. Btw, yep i asked about which fw to use for the 360 only if i cant flash back to the original fw, which is the last resort for me my friend. My mom bought the wrong console. Suppose to be original but ... you know. Btw, you sure i asked about "How to unbrick a PSP?" Get your facts right man. LOL or did i misunderstood you. Anyways, I'm from KK too but haven't been back for ages... if you're in KL just go to DjiNn's place. |
